Mob Reskin Pack 1 by Akareiu (a.k.a. Akaraiu -.-)

INSTALLATION:

extract data.rar into your Oblivion folder.

INFO:

This is a modders' resource that adds three new textures for both the Ogre and Troll models in TES IV: Oblivion, as well as the associated .nif files. Please note that THIS PACK ADDS NO NEW CREATURES TO THE WORLD, instead it gives modders the ability to use the pre-existing models in Oblivion to add a little more variety to their encounters.

The .esp contains six new entries with the prefix MR01 (i.e. MR01TrollDeep) in Creatures that have the new textures already applied. The stats for the new entries are fairly basic, and should be changed to match your needs if you plan on using them. Feel free to change their names as you see fit.

If you would like to use the new textures and .nifs without having to rely on the .esp you can easily add the new skins by accessing an already existing Ogre or Troll entry and changing the parts around in the ModelList tab.

Please note that this is a working beta, and that I'm slowly teaching myself how to do skinning for Ob as I progress. There is a tiny problem with the alpha channels on the furtuft.dds files. There are some pixel artifacts which show up as dark / black ridges along the fur which I could not manage to remove. This can be easily solved by turning off the furtuft.nif files in the ModelList tab in the CS. I appologise for the inconvenience. (If you know how to fix this completely, then by all means...)

This is the first pack in a series I plan to release to the Modding community for use in their own work. Feel free to redistribute the files, either with the .esp or separately in your own mod, I only ask for a mention in your Readme if you decide to use these.
