About this mod

This is not a complete mod, and has virtually no play value AS-IS. This mod is designed to be a starting point for users following a tutorial. All playable content will have to come from YOU!

Permissions and credits
This mod is designed to accompany the tutorial I posted about a year ago.

A copy of this tutorial is also included in the archive for offline work.

The tutorial in question deals with teaching people how to create a scene where they can help defend a location against a never-ending onslaught of spawns without the AI crapping out half-way through due to having too many actors in the scene, or creating bloat. In the example worldspace, the setup is arranged so that the player can finally have their battle against wave after wave of Daedra. Using the scripts from the tutorial, the NPCs created will respawn back at base as they're killed. The user is encouraged to use modified duplicates of spawns and NPCs so that they can get a feel as to what settings make an actor better or worse at fighting without granting too much advantage to any side.

The main focus of this tutorial is in dealing with AI and a reasonably complex scene. The initial version of this mod only has part of the tutorial completed, with the intention being that the user would complete and add to it according to the tutorial and their own decisions. Users may start from scratch, or use the base mod (loaded as active) to move past some of the more challenging parts related to just setting up the scene. This version contains only a starting cell, a pathgridded, cluttered worldspace, and some of the controlling spells. Everything else would need to be implemented by the user.

The readme file and article can answer most other questions.

Please DO NOT distribute this mod or any subsequent works without my expressed and explicit permission. The idea is to give you some experience to make YOUR OWN mods, not to hand you one that's partially done so that you can take credit. If you wish to translate this file and tutorial for another language, permission to do so is still required.

Over time I might release slightly more complete versions of this mod so that you can compare it against your own. If you have any problems with the tutorial or the mod, please leave a comment mentioning exactly what the problem is so that I can answer the question and fix it.
