Just coming back to say this is my go to creature re-textures even after all these years. One thing to note that I just found out; file "spiderddhair_g.dd" should be renamed to "spiderddhair_n.dd" for the Spider Daedra hair to properly show up in-game as intended.
To be honest the scamp was never really a favorite texture of mine, but I decided to leave it in as I still think it's a huge improvement over the vanilla textures.
Many people are divided over the imp wings, I obviously like them as it adds a little depth and color to an otherwise bland creature (imho).
But chances are everyone won't love all the textures, and I kind of knew that going in (that's life). The beauty of retextures is that they can be easily removed and customized.
So for anyone who prefers one or two vanilla creatures over my interpretations all you have to do is navigate to your data folder and then find your creature texture folder (data/textures/creatures) and simply delete the texture files you no longer wish to see.
The imp does have an extra mesh file so you'll want to delete that as well (data/meshes/creatures/scamp).
Just a word of warning: many mods add other textures into your creatures folder so just be sure your deleting my textures and not unwittingly ridding yourself of a baddy you enjoy).

P.S. I trust when you see some of the other creatures you'll find something you like. I'm pretty proud of the spriggan myself.
Thank you, I was looking for a way to delete the imp wings as I am really freaked out and frightened by the butterfly wings (have a phobia) Love everything else though
Blue daedroth, green clannfear, butterfly-winged imp? Nope.avi No chance of downloading a non-"canonical" mod. I wish there was a mod to stick with vanilla textures, but make them hi-res.
I discovered this mod author's work by random chance. Why? Because this EPIC series of mods is not on the list of Top Files, that's why. What will it take for that to happen? It's a crime and a damn dirty shame that these mods aren't on the Top Files list. Why so few endorsements, with so many compliments?? From the number of downloads, these mods should have AT LEAST several hundred endorsements.
People new to the site should be able to find these mods more easily. Endorsed by me.

EDIT: Works now. Vortex wasn't doing archive invalidation properly, had to use the archive invalidation mod.
