Details
=======

*GAMEPLAY*
The quest will start with receiving a letter from a friend at player level 8.
This does not necessarily mean that you are ready to survive the quest at that level, so prepare well!
You should at least possess approx. 10000 gold and have good Athletic and Acrobatic skills.
The journey into the Valus Mountains has steep slopes and it is best to approach the landmark from the south.

Inside the tower control room you can:
-Move the Tower to any place in Cyrodiil and the Cities
-Change the appearance of the Tower to 'Good' or 'Evil'
-Change the altitude of the Tower

Tower movement:
The Tower comes with an amulet that allows you to place up to 9 Singular Gateways.
The Gateways function as markers and indicate the 'landing zones' of the tower.
You can position them freely anywhere in Cyrodiil or the Cities.
Once a Singular Gateway has been (re)placed, the Tower can be commanded to 'land' there.
The Tower also has 10 Frozen Gateways. They have a fixed position and are placed inside the cities of Cyrodiil and Hadarath. They are especially useful for loading/unloading your companions and followers.

Obelisk of Soul Absorption:
A device in the Hadarath castle that will facilitate your soul management.
- It can absorb souls from filled soulgems and return them back emptied and ready for reuse.
- With the absorbed souls it can refill empty soulgems to maximum capacity.

Combat Simulation:
You have to load the power of soul gems into the tower to initiate combat simulation. You can select different enemies, but the more enemy you select at once, the more power will be needed to summon the creatures. There are 3 panic buttons in case of emergency. Using these buttons the summoned enemies disappear. There is a cleanup switch which can be used to -guess what- clean up the remains of fallen enemies. (And to reinitialize combat sequence, plus reset the selection counter.)

The quest:
The history of the Tower and its realm is described in a book titled 'The Tower of Hadarath'. The book also contains a short guide on how to use the Tower. After buying the book you will be directed to the Valus Mountains, near the border separating Cyrodiil and Morrowind. Here you will have to enter the realm of Hadarath and free the tower to gain control. To start the quest you should be at least level 10, possess approx. 10000 gold and have good Athletic and Acrobatic skills.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
If previous version exists, simply overwrite it. Savegames are compatible with V1.40 (I hope :)
3. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside 'Tower_Of_Hadarath.esp'.
5. If you want to use the alchemical ingredients sorter, check 'Tower_AlchemySorter_COBL.esp' too, and you have to install COBL. http://wryemusings.com/Cobl.html

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck 'Tower_Of_Hadarath.esp' and 'Tower_AlchemySorter_COBL.esp'.
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.

Incompatibility
===============
Not known.

*REMARKS*
=========
Obelisk of Soul Absorption may not always recognize a filled soulgem. Especially soulgems filled by the player and Azura's Star.
If the Tower fades away to fast with distance, you should increase 'Actor Fade' in the settings.
If the Tower is far away (but still visible) it may not immediately respond to an altitude command from the amulet.
It will delay its action until you are close enough.
If it bothers you, decrease 'Actor Fade' in the settings.

History
=======
*CHANGES IN V1.40*

- Fixed a bug with Combat Simulation Chamber cleanup switch
- Oblivion treats soulgems filled by the player in other ways not like "original" soulgems thus the Obelisk of Soul Absorption and the Combat Simulation Chamber won't work with them. Not even OBSE could help. So I decided to modify the monsters in C. S. C. so they carry a filled soulgem that matches their soul level and these gems can be used normally. Of course you have to find a filled soulgem in the game to start using the C. S. C. but that shouldn't be a problem.
- Added an Obelisk of Spellmaking and Obelisk of Enchantment to the Obelisk of Soul Absorption. Both require a petty soul.
- Multiple soulgems of the same type can be filled and absorbed at once
- Added a quest to complete the Combat Simulation Chamber and added a dremora follower. The dremora will stay with you as long as the tower has enough energy.

*CHANGES IN V1.30*

- Fixed a bug whereas the platform did not appear on top of tower, instead next to it floating in the air
- Could have removed the invisible collision box around the platform, but it is necessary to protect the player from falling down. It can be avoided with levitating spells, but not recommended. Also, saving on top of tower is not recommended. (Tower can land on platform instead of ground where the gateway is anchored.) Partial removing of the collision model from the platform resulted in constant crashes so I stopped experimenting with 3D modelling. :)
- Added an Alchemy Lab with alchemical ingredients sorter (COBL and the use of the separate plugin Tower_AlchemySorter_COBL.esp is required for the sorter), bookshelves, alchemy apparatus, lights up & down switch and daedric translations of alchemical formulas :)
- Added some lights to the corridors
- Added the necessary teleports inside the tower
- Added two more signs into control room (thanks to Oszkár Winkler), made all of them bigger (at first I couldn't read them :)
- Scaled up the power level of common, greater and grand souls in the soul absorb/refill/load/unload routine, while scaled down the power level of petty and lesser souls. This way it is not so easy to upgrade soul gems by multiple loading/unloading and absorbing/refilling
- Optimized soul handler routine (multiple soul absorption/refill/load/unload from same type of soul gem doesn't work yet(?))
- Added a Combat Simulation Chamber. You have to load the power of soul gems into the tower to initiate combat simulation. Beware, summoned creatures can be harmful... :)
- Added/modified sounds (GhostBusters Main Theme, recycle bin, final dragon attack-soul release)
- Added a real quest with quest log to gain the tower

Thanks to HenkBein for creating the awesome Tower of Hadarath mod, and DigitalAvatar who left a comment about it at the Private (non-) Mobile Base mod.

*CHANGES IN V1.20*
-Added a large room to the tower to display your wealth
-Made the unfinished looks of the Hadarath location more interesting
-Added 'Obelisk of Souls' to the Hadarath location.
-The quest now starts at player level 8 to avoid conflicts with CharGen mods.
-Lights with erratic Havok-chains have been replaced.

*CHANGES IN V1.10*
Shifted the gateway to Hadarath in Valus Mountains a few feet to the west. (It was blocked by the border collision wall).
