DESCRIPTION

It always bothered me that there are very few female guards in the game. You'd think
with the crisis and all, there would be such a demand for reinforcements, they would
be likely to recuit more females into the Imperial Legion. Well, I think so any way,
so "Female Guards" was born.

NOTE: Anyone who has played Morrowind, may know of my "Imperial Guards" which also adds
female Troopers to the game.

------------

There are a total of 27 females added to the ranks. All are Imperial since all the guards
in the legion "are" Imperial. The list below explains where they've been placed.

------------

1. Anvil Night Post.
2. Anvil Castle Day Post.
3. Anvil Guard Escort.
4. Bravil Night Post.
5. Bravil Castle Night Post.
6. Bravil Day Stable Post.
7. Bruma Day Patrol.
8. Cheydinhal Castle Day Post.
9. Cheydinhal Day Patrol.
10. Cheydinhal Day Stables.
11. Chorrol Day Post.
12. Arboretum District Day Post.
13. Arcane University Day Post.
14. Arena District Day Post.
15. Elven Gardens Day Patrol.
16. Market District Night Post.
17. Palace Guard Day Post. (Inside near Entrance).
18. Talos District Day Patrol.
19. Temple District Day Post.
20. Waterfront District Day Post. (Lighthouse Barracks).
21. Legion Forester (Inn of Ill Omen).
22. Legion Rider (Roxey Inn).
23. Ligion Rider (Chorrol Route).
24. Legion Rider (Near Wellspring).
25. Leyawiin Castle Night Post.
26. Skingrad Castle Night Post.
27. Wawnet Inn.

All I did was take one male guard from each area and changed gender to female. This way I didn't
have to create new NPCs or mess with speech, and AI schedules and what not. I did alter the faces
and hair styles, and tried to make them as attractive as possible. Some may look a bit rough, but hey,
they're Legionnaires. They're suppose to be rough, right? ;-)

Also, all helmets have been removed from these female guards. This way, you will be able to see right
off that they are truly female. I did however, leave the hood on the Arcane University guard, since they're
required to wear them.

------------

NOTE: You "WILL" notice some darkned facial textures on 1 or 2 of the females which resembles
"Five O'Clock Shadow." There's really no way to fix this without a texture program or adding a
new face intirely. You have to remember that the game was not set up to have a lot of Female
Legion Soldiers, and so the male faces are set in stone so to speak in the means of textures like
thickness of eyebrows, lip color, ect. Changing them to female was a bit tricky. I picked out males
that were very young and had no facial hair. I did the best I could with what I had to work with.
I think they all look pretty good. The "Five O'Clock Shadow" I mentioned is not that noticable.

IMPORTANT: If you have the older version running, and are updating this new version into your existing game, the new added female soldiers may have a male voice. One way to fix this is by waiting a day as the soldiers change scheduals, rest, etc., and it should fix itself, however, if that don't work, then you can also fix it by unchecking the mod, making a fresh save (preferably in an interior cell) then activate the mod again, load your game with the clean save, and the females should have the proper voice.
------------

That's about it really. Pretty simple. Only took a day to create, and I think it adds much realism and
flavor to the guards of Oblivion. A much needed change in my honest opinion. There "may" be updates in the future.

INSTALLATION

Drag or copy/paste the esp into Bethesda Data Files folder and check the box next to the esp on game start up.
That's it. To uninstall, just delete the esp.
