For my latest character, I found the small house in the Imperial City Waterfront suiting. However, I disliked it's location because it either required me to swim across lake rumare or run through the Imperial City, neither of which I liked.
So I added a small dock and row boat to the waterfront which will allow the player to cross lake rumare provided he has an oar. Now my character can get directly to the wilderness from his home quickly and conveniently.
