I was dissapointed with the other Mythic Dawn armor mods that came out, so I decided to do it right.

v1.12
--------
The female gauntlets were set to the wrong .nif mesh and thus were causing some funky screwed-up-ness. Fixed now.

New in v1.1

By request I've added in bind spells. The spells require you to have at least a skill of 25 in conjuration, to prevent completely non-magical people from being able to just use it all they want. The spells are available from Edgar's Discount Spells, which is very close to The Best Defense.

There's light/heavy variants of the bound armor. The heavy bound armor is slightly weaker than the real armor, and light bound is weaker than the heavy bound.

I found scripting that I based the bound spells on on the elderscrolls.com forums. The spells have all the effects and everything that the real spells have, but after the effect wears off you'll be naked. Nothing I can do about that.

If there's any compatability issues with other mods caused by the addition of these spells, tell me about it.

About the mod:
=========================
To get the armor, you'll have to work for it. Go to The Best Defense in the Imperial City. On the counter in front of Varnado will be a note about and ultra rare daedric armor. Take this note and don't lose it, it tells you the locations of all the pieces of armor.

I gave the armor a rating between ebony and daedric, and more health and value than daedric.

I don't give you any map markers, so if you haven't been exploring out in the wilderness already, you may need to go out and wander around a bit to find the places where the armor is at.

All the pieces of armor are in containers to prevent respawning. The ones in dungeons are in fleshy pods (pretty hard to miss), and the ones not in dungeons will be in containers labelled "old sack". (with the exception of the helmet).

Installation:
=========================
Open up the zip file and extract to <installed directory>\oblivion\data\<br><br><br>Other notes:<br>=========================<br> I split apart the objects in the Mythic Dawn armor mesh (the way it comes in the game, there's 2 pieces, helmet and full suit of armor). I used NifSkope for this, from the niftools guys.<br><br> Since the armor was never intended to be used like this, if you're not wearing the full suit, or other heavy armor, there's a few spots on your body that will turn invisible, such as your ankles if you have the greaves on but no boots. I tried to fix it, but for some reason the mesh just kept going all screwy whenever I tried. You can see some of the invisibleness in the screenshots.<br><br> Also I retextured some ground textures of various other pieces of armor that came with the game. Steel for the cuirass and greaves, daedric boots, leather gauntlets, and chainmail for the helm. Because of that they have full Havok properties. A screenshot of them is included below.<br><br> The game came with icons for the cuirass and helm, I added icons for the rest.<br><br> If you enounter any bugs or anything strange with the mod, give me a shout. I tested it all and didn't find anything to be wrong. Also if you just want any additions or changes tell me about that too. Somewhere down the line I may create a shield and couple of weapons.<br><br><br>Enjoy! I know I will.... the dawn is breaking!</installed>
