These mods are for those who want to experiment with changing their Oblivion playing experience for Oblivion. These plugins are, for the most part, simple fixes that are not unbalancing and have been playtested. These plugin files change ONLY what they say, so you know what you exactly what you are getting here. The WinRAR file contains each plugin as a separate esp files. Use only those you want and ignore the rest. A Readme with complete instructions for installation, use, and uninstalling the plugins is included.

Alchemy Potions Allowed - Normally, all characters can drink up to 4 potions and see all of their effects. This plugin changes this to base the potion use on Alchemy skill, to simulate the expertise alchemists have at building up tolerances to the miscibility effect of combining potions. With this plugin, the number of potions allowed is limited to 1 at Novice skill, then increases to 2 at Apprentice, 3 at Journeyman, 4 at Expert, and 5 at Mastery.

Allow Alchemy in Combat - I ran from an enemy once, hid in a corner, and tried to brew up a quick poison. Unfortunately, I received a message that I couldn't do so in combat, even though the enemy was no where in sight. This changes it so you CAN use alchemy in combat. Don't abuse it.

Allow Repair in Combat - Allows character to use repair hammers at any time, even in combat.

Arrow Looting - When arrows strike a creature, the default is 50% of the time the arrow can be looted on the body. This changes it to 75% or 100% (there are two esp files, choose whichever you wish).

Brighter Torches - Increases the brightness of torches. The default light level in the game is 40. This increases it to 80. Works best when your monitor setup makes the dungeons very dark.

Enemy Health Bar - Removes the semi-circular health bar that appears when you strike enemies. Now you'll never know when it will take "just one more hit" to kill a creature...or if you should run away. It makes combat more exciting (to me, anyway; try it and see).

Level of Creatures - Changes the difference in level different between the player and the creatures encountered. Default is 8, which means that a 30th level player will encounter creatures 22nd or higher level. This plugin changes the difference to 30, so the player can still encounter all creatures from leveled creature lists 30 levels below him. This doesn't mean that a character will encounter creatures too difficult (such as a Troll at 1st level); it only works in reverse.

Level of Items - Changes the difference in level different between the player and the items found. Default is 8, which means that the loot on bodies of creatures killed by a 30th level player will be 22nd or higher level (thus, bandits will have high-powered items). This plugin changes the difference to 30, so the loot will be more randomized.

Sneak Multipliers, Marksman - Changes the progression of multipliers for sneak attack using bows. The game default setting has a maximum multiplier at Apprentice level of x3. This plugin increases the sneak attack for bows to x4 for Journeyman, x5 for Expert, and x6 for Masters. Melee sneak multipliers are unaffected.

Sneak Multipliers, Melee - Changes the progression of multipliers for sneak attack with melee weapons. The default (see manual) allows novices x4 from a melee attack, and x6 thereafter. This changes it to a more natural progression, as I personally thought melee sneak attack at 1st level was overpowered. Just for yourself: x2 for Novice, x3 Apprentice, x4 Journeyman, x5 Expert, and x6 Master. Marksman sneak multipliers are unaffected.

Run Multipliers - The WinRAR contains a number of files that increase the player's running speed. This is considered a cheat. The default setting in the game is 3. Player has the option to increase speed to 4, 5, or 6.

Summoned Creatures - By default a player can only summon 1 creature at a time. This plugin increases the maximum to 10. Note: Summoning multiple creatures will have an impact upon frame rates, especially with multiple enemies on the screen. NOTE: This plugin will only allow the player to summon multiple creatures of DIFFERENT types, up to 10 (scamp and skeleton possible, but not 2 scamps or 2 skeletons; in any event the player must have the appropriate spell).

Text Removal "Loading" - Removes the "Loading area..." and "Loading Distant LOD..." text when moving between cells, since this text, in my opinion, dispels the illusion of being in a fantasy world.

Text Removal "Locks" - Removes the difficulty level text of locks when looking at chests. The chest is still locked, and will show a lock icon, and still has the appropriate difficulty level; all this plugin does is prevent "Easy" or "Average", etc., from displaying in the lower right window below "Chest." I think this makes security more interesting since you'll never know the true difficulty without looking at the number of tumblers and trying to unlock the lock. This also removes "Lock Level" text from the in-game screen that shows the tumblers.

Text Removal "Horse" - Removes the phrase "Your horse has been stabled outside the city gate" for fast travel. If that annoys you, use this mod.

Text Removal "Sneak Attack" - Another immersion plugin to remove messages that destroy the illusion of reality. When you have successfully sneak attacked a victim with a weapon, you receive a message "Sneak attack for x damage!". This plugin removes the message. You still sneak attack, you are just not told you were successful. A monster turning to attack you should be message enough!

Text Removal "Weapon" - If you hit an enemy with a weapon and the creature is immune to it, the game prints a message "Your attack has no effect." This is a little redundant and removes some of the experience the character must encounter on his own. This plugin removes this message from appearance. Be warned, you'll no longer be told your weapon has no effect on a monster! Increases the difficulty somewhat. Use with the HP bar removal plugin above for best effect.

Time Scale Fix - The default setting in-game is 30:1; i.e. a real hour advances the game time 30 hours. This plugin changes it so that the game clock advances at a real time rate (i.e. 1 real hour = 1 game hour).

Training Costs - Increases training costs for those who think it is too easy and cheap to train their character to god-like levels. There are three versions of this plugin: x2, x5, or x10 to training costs.
