Permissions and credits
Look in the online readme for fast and up-to-date info. This includes details on updates, permissions, (in)compatibilities, requirements, contributors, and even chances for YOU to contribute to the development of this mod!

It is HIGHLY recommended that you read it before downloading any updated version of this mod.

Don't forget!: Comments and endorsements make me happeh!
Also don't forget!: "He who laughs last, laughs loudest," especially in a forum-like environment.

I will upload photos as soon as I have time. Currently, all you need to know is that it is a jade(?) necklace.

This item can currently be found in Anvil's Abanadoned House.

----------------------

This amulet is one of many now-lost pieces which were enchanted by the Ayleids in order to combat the rising Imperial influence and the occasional rogue daedra. However, the Ayleids had to pay their enchanters just as we do, and it was not cost-effective to mass-produce amulets with permanent powerful enchantments. So they did the next best thing.
These amulets' powers would lay dormant until awakened by an element; fire, frost, or shock. It would then offer increasing protection against that element depending upon the wearer's exposure.

However, soon after the Ayleids dispensed them to their troops, they were seen around the necks of their enemies. As the Ayleids were a heavily magic-dependant race, this proved to be a severe handicap. So, the remaining amulets were gathered up, sealed, and finally forgotten after the Ayleids were overthrown. Now, only one is known to exist today.

----------------------

This amulet provides an incremental five points of protection to respective hits of fire, frost, or shock. The only drawback is that this will only happen a total of ten times per battle. This means that if you're hit three times by fire, granting a 15% resistance to it, then hit five times by shock, granting 25% resistance, then two times by frost, granting 10% resist, then that's it; no more resistance will be granted.

This version will be considered a BETA until I figure out how to get it to work without attaching the script directly to the player's CS reference. Although it should (as in: has not affected mine) not affect your save file, make a back-up, because as it is now, ANY MOD WHICH ATTACHES ANY SCRIPT TO THE PLAYER'S NPC REFERENCE may NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS MOD.
If anyone with scripting knowledge could help me out, I would be grateful.
