I haven't been playing Oblivion for long, and I was very pleased about the amount of patches and mods available. Amongst the hair packs, I especially liked KafeiDotour's short hair style. However, the original version doesn't support custom hair colours and it doesn't have a bump map. I didn't find any version that fixes this, so I decided to provide a remedy myself. Not an easy task as complete modding noob, but if others can do it...
1.1 changelist: - Added _n, _hl and _hh textures (based on the original one) - Blender re-im/export to add the binormal/tangent vector data block (this also increased the vertex count for some reason) - Removed all coloured textures except the grey one - Reduced hair styles in the .esp from 9 to 1, enabled custom colouring - Set the shader to Hair instead of Skin - Added omod creation data
The mod conflicts with other hair and eye mods. Is there a solution to this?
Installation: Use Oblivion Mod Manager to create your own omod or just unpack the textures and meshes folders and KDshorthair.esp into your Oblivion Data folder.
Please provide comments and hints for further improvement!
