Description
UPDATE: August 28, 2009 : Added the road from Anvil to Sutch. This is a work-in-progress, "beta test" version if you will. Tell me what you think!
UPDATE: August 17, 2009 : Added support for Esme's New Roads and Bridges elven map addon. The map with both Sutch and NRAB is located in the files section. Happy trails!

An addon to the Elven Map that adds "The Imperial City of Sutch" to the western coast. It's actually a texture replacement for the entire map.

I created this mod for myself, but would like to give back to the TES Nexus modding community. This is my... second... submission. Thank you so much, TESNEXUS!

Details
I opened the original Elven Map in Photoshop with my DDS plugin, drew in the area, used some purple-ish orange gradients on two parts of the map (you can hardly tell, but I like the atmosphere) and, finally, used a font called Hesperides Demo, available free from DaFont.com. This is the font Bethesda originally used for the map. It's perfect.

It is not a "Low-Res" image. It is only 2.00 MB (as opposed to the original 8 MB) because I compiled the DDS as an alpha-less image instead of an interpolated-alpha image. Since this image does not use alpha, the image quality is identical to the original

For now, I'm calling it an error on the original author's part. Sorry!

Future Versions
I intend to greatly expand upon the idea of editing the Elven Map in the coming weeks. The discovery that I am capable of editing the map so nicely (yeah yeah, narcissism) holds great potential to me.

Think about the big mods out there that could use a nice spot on the elven map!

Install
I can't guarantee my instructions to be accurate. If you have trouble, PLEASE COMMENT!

Elven Map Redux
---------------
Drag-and-drop the provided "Data" folder into your primary Oblivion program folder and merge the contents of it with the existing "Data" folder.

The contents include:
- Data/Textures/Menus/map/world/cyrodiil_resized

I HIGHLY suggest you back up this file incase you have trouble playing oblivion after the installation.

"cyrodiil_resized" is the map you'll see.

Both for creating Oblivion, and for allowing the modding community to invade all of the game's files and change/replace/add whatever we like. You're great!

Thanks for giving me material to work on! And a special thanks to ADParker for suggesting I merge these two maps!

Good job.

Hah, okay seriously. I owe you my firstborn's life. :)

I love you! There's some terrible translation in your mod, but it isn't a dialogue mod. It's a mod about the sheer power of Oblivion mod making: The ability to progress a city from "under construction" to "magnificent" through quests is... legendary.
