Fine Print

MUTE ( or Morrowind s Ubiquitous Talking Environment. if you prefer ) is a simple minded mod for the simple minded Tommy ( and Dicky and Harry and Judy ). It turns on the mute switch when NPCs open their mouths to talk to the player, leaving him/her behind with nothing more than a quietly jabbering NPC and a lot of spit. And once they re done talking, it turns off the switch. A lesser known feature : It also allows players to admire the flawless teeth that NPCs sport without any auditory distrations.

MUTE can optionally silence NPCs in accordance to their race or gender. Essential NPCs can optionally be allowed to speak their oh so unique lines for whatever the reasons.

All this from a guy who never played Morrowind in his life ... what has the world come to ?

Compatibility

This mod is, and should be, compatible with all other mods except those that do the same job. Thankfully, there aren t any ( to my knowledge ) that fall under that criterion.
