Message to Author: I am using Northern UI and when I start the game your mod now works, but I get a warning for Northern UI that I am using a new version that MAY conflict. Anyway, I left them a post on their mod to notify them.
Original Post: Unfortunately I get this message, "MiniMap v1.1.1 requires the OBSE plugin MenuQue v14 or higher." How can I fix this? Because I've just downloaded OBSE on Sunday and MenuQue about 15 minutes ago, surely they're up to date as they possibly can be?
RESOLVED: Can't seem to delete this. I had a mishap and added the data folder to data folder, instead of the contents to data folder.
I am back a year later with the same problem. It was working perfectly. Then I installed NorthernUI Vanilla for controller. It wouldn't work, as it said MenuQue was outdated. I reinstalled MenuQue... now NorthernUI Vanilla works... and Minimap no longer works. Ahhhhh. P.S. I did both manual installation & MO2. MO2 worked well initially. Then manual didn't work after getting that error. And now manual, nor MO2 work. I wish I didn't touch it! I just wanted to lie down and play Oblivion and here I am 2 hours later, not being able to. :P
So I never figured out why, but getting this, NorthernUI Vanilla, (controller support only,) & Darnified UI Dark was a nightmare. MenuQue kept being "outdated." I started from scratch, and now I've got all 3 working, alongside the DarkUI Config add on to keep settings saved.
In case you want to change the keys used to zoom in/out or toogle the minimap and since the http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/OnKeyDown is deprecated. You can use this one to take the key code instead: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion_Mod:DirectX_KeyMap
* Copy the esp, ini file, BSA file and menus folder to your data folder. This mod requires: - Oblivion v1.2.0.416 - OBSE v0020 or higher. You can find the latest version at http://obse.silverlock.org/ - MenuQue v14a or higher. You can find the latest version at http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/32200/ - (Optional) ConScribe for easier logging and debugging
* Optionally examine the ini file for configuration, there should be enough documentation for everything.
Hello, thanks for the mod! Really helps me from getting lost in dungeons and having to open my menu repeatedly.
Is there any way to tuck my mini map farther into a corner? I set the alignment value to 3 to place it into the lower right corner, but it sticks out a little from the bottom and right sides. Ideally I’d like it to be level with the rest of the HUD. Fairly new to modding so I’m not sure if I’ve missed something, or if this is possible. Thanks!
Well, I immediately found the answer after some digging, whoops. I have no idea how to delete this comment, so; for anyone else with this question, the X and Y axis can be edited in the INI file as well, directly below the start position alignment section. I set both values to 25 to tuck it nicely into the corner. This flows well with the rest of the HUD and doesn't block anything beyond the player's right hand.
minimap should switch to local map whenever in oblivion because oblivion isn't on the world map and the game just shows the minimap of your last location in cyrodill before entering an oblivion gate.
