About this mod
Unlike other mods that allow EVERY article of clothing to show rings and amulets, mine doesn\'t allow any changes that would otherwise create ugly clipping issues.

VAR - Visible Amulets and Rings
Description: This mod allows you to see your equipped rings and neckwear while wearing gloves or bodywear.
A number of gauntlets, cuirasses, and robes in Vanilla
Oblivion, for some reason, were set to hide amulets and
rings. So I simply "unchecked" some of the "checks."
Every piece of armour and clothing in the game have been
individually tested, and only the pieces that did not cause
any clipping passed to the final "main" mod. There is also
a few other "additional" mods, which allow more amulets and
rings to be seen, at the cost of a little clipping, (but
not much). There is also a "King of Worms" addon that
unchecks said robe, but while it does no clipping on men,
it's pretty bad on women, so only use if you so choose.
And, finally, an addon for viewing several more amulets
very clearly on armoured female bodies, but alas, huge
clipping for the men. The 4 mods have no dependency for
each other, so you can use any combination of these mods
you want.
This mod will NOT work on ANY user-created clothing or
armour. (This includes in-game enchanting, unfortunately.)
I'm looking into possibly creating other versions of this
mod, but unless I figure out some compatibility issues,
this may very well be the final version.
Also, just so you know, I did create a (now obsolete)
version of this mod a few years ago under my old username
of aervyl, so don't worry about asking if I got permission
from him, cause... he's me :)
Installation: Easy. Move whichever pluggin you wish to use
into your Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data
section. Your choices are...
VARmain- only the non-clippy has been added.
VARplusclippy- adds a few more armour and clothing pieces
to allow visible jewelry, at the expense of minor clipping.
VARwomen- If you just don't care that it looks like a septim
is wedged in some guys neck, just as long as it looks good
on the girls, then you might want to use this. (no clipping
on girls, HUGE clipping on guys)
VARworms- The most amazing mod of all... It alters only ONE
piece of clothing... the King of Worms Robe. It seriously
only took me 10 seconds to make this one.(No clipping on guys,
more-than-a-little clipping on girls)
