I can't seem to get this mod to work. I've tried both the OMOD and manual install and have no other mods affected alchemy. I only get the menu that the scripts aren't active.

I meant to update this comment but yes. Apparently it was a load order issue because since I've switched from BOSS to LOOT I've been able to use it. Hope that helps

Someone please tell me how to get the Master Refiner. No shops are ever selling it and I can't find it anywhere after many hours of using the mod.

Well, the console command for it is thus
      Player.additem XX005a01 1
XX being the load order number.
      If you don't mind cheating.

After going thru the files, there's also Prototype quality apparatus's.

Does this conflict with Northern UI? I can't get it working.

Ok, looks like you need to load the game with the mod disabled, and then enable it.

    Edit 2: Only briefly.

i started a new game and noticed for the life of me i couldn't get AA working.

at first, i thought the problem was Darkuid Darn. with problems w/ Darn it's normally necessary to deactivate all mods that write xml files to the Data\menus file. reinstall the UI then allow the other mods to write over it.

with this problem, the solution was much easier. deactivate the mod, save, reactivate and reload the save game.

The menu won't pop up, I'm wondering if it has something to do with a conflict with the DarNified UI? I'd appreciate it greatly if someone could suggest a way to solve this. I've spent the last 16 hours trying to solve so many issues with my mods for Oblivion, literally reinstalling the game from GOG 9 times, deleted all my saves, disabled cloud sync, reinstalled MO2 3 times now & frankly it's exhausting. These mods are so amazing so it's worth the trial and error learning process but this particular mod I can't seem to solve.

There shouldn't be a conflict with DarnifiedUI. I'm using this mod and it works fine.

That said, if you're still struggling, try installing only DarnUI and this mod. Once those work, you should be good from there.

This mod is risky to open since it has a moderate chance to permanently freeze the game when interacting with the alchemy menu.

Just moving the cursor around while the alchemy menu is open is a risk itself.
Ive seen houses in Bravil more stable than this thing.

I'm having trouble installing this mod. I am installing with Wrye Bash. I am also using DarNified UI but made sure to install Advanced Alchemy afterwards. All of the additional items from the mod are present in the game (essences etc) but none of the alchemy features are working. The alchemy menu is still the vanilla UI, can't use potions as ingredients, tripling down on an effect has no effect on its magnitude, etc. I then tried installing the Advanced Alchemy UI manually by dragging and dropping the files into my data folder, but that causes an error message to pop up whenever I try to initiate potion making along the lines of "this menu has been replaced by Advanced Alchemy, but no scripts are functioning."

Any ideas? Has anyone managed to get this working?

Being able to use potions as ingredients naturally makes me think that I could keep on distilling them into increasingly more powerful brews, Morrowind-tier hilarity. Amass a whole bunch of ectoplasm, imp gall, spiddal sticks, and black tar, make a bunch of triple-threat poisons out of them, then start mixing those poisons together into even more potent stuff... alas, I face a stone wall very quickly. You'd think I should be able to keep the damage climbing ever higher, but I can't. Very disappointing.

Maybe something to do later down the line?
