For the benefit of anyone using the item removal feature and has Simple Horse Utilities installed, add this to EE's Immune.ini:
; Simple Horse Utilities set tnoEE.mod to sv_Construct "Simple Horse Utilities.esp" set tnoEE.fId to sv_Construct "002352" SetStage tnoEE 10
It seems to decide when to run the removal script on the saddlebag at random and EE's keybind to restore items doesn't work since it doesn't open like a normal container as far as I can tell. I had about 50 broken items in the bag by the time I noticed.
Anyone knows of a simpler mod to reduce gold found in chests? That's all I need, but all Google shows me is meant for that f*#@ing remaster. I find it hard to believe no one ever made a mod for the original game to fix that problem.
I don't know why but no matter how many times I reinstall this, I don't see the merchant quest options, from the merchants nor the house tax options from the guards. I have installed all my mods with OBMM through MO2 and I am using the same savegame that worked with Enhanced Economy previously (I took a break from playing for a year and when I came back I had to reinstall most of my mods including this one) Any ideas regarding what I should do? Maybe there is something in the ini file I am missing?
You should check your INI to see what is enabled or not, I cannot remember what is turned on by default, the INI is very clear though.
RE merchant quests: i would assume this would be the issue, as i know theres a setting that does not let you access the quests until you have traded enough with a particular merchant.
RE House taxes: I am currently looking for a solve to this myself. I find this feature works with a clean LO, but as soon as you start adding other mods it ceases to function (while other aspects like the one above have no issues).
What is odder is that if you make a save where it works, and then load into it after adding more mods, the feature works. Which makes me think it has to do with the script not firing off at the start of the game ( I am testing this with Alternative beginnings as to start the game with a house already owned for quicker play-testing. I understand that AB has some issues with scripts not firing, but since it works 100% of the time with just AB and EE installed, i have yet to try a longer route).
Sometimes EE will notify you its not initialised, but if you get in and out of the conversation with the guard it will appear.
EDIT: Upon further testing, It would seem to do with an issue between the AB and the EE script. I am still not sure why it works in a clean LO (even simply adding DarnUI stops it functioning), but otherwise, this first house does not register as bought. The EE script is still functioning correctly though (thats why you can load up a prior save and it will work), and if you look at the debug messages in the console, when you enter the town the tax script goes off, but registers 0 septims. If you then go to another town and buy a house from a count, it works fine.
There's nothing in between "Please change every aspect of how the in-game economy works without me even knowing all the mod features" and "Sure, I am gonna spend an evening or two deciding what the appropriate changes to fines for each crime my character will commit are, but avoid getting the fine by savescumming."
I love this mod. I value it as one of the essential patches to the game rather than a mod, really. But every time setting it up is a nightmare. The last time, years ago, I hadn't even thought that saving this mod's INI would be considered super important data I’d want to keep forever in safety and backed up on a remote machine.
Like, all 13 merchant gold amount settings could be streamlined into two. - How much gold the merchants should have compared to the original. - How much it can change without any player input.
Is there some function in the mod that is removing the value of daedric weapons/armour when selling? I know they are a bit OP in terms of value but I'd like to be able to get at least something for them.
I encounter a bug when using this mod. I am unable to reveive any gold reward from the arena. Although the notification pops up and says "x amount of gold added" I gain nothing at all. As soon as I disable the mod, I receive the reward normally. I used MO to install this mod. MO shows no conflicts between this mod and rest of my mods.

That would truly be amazing.
There is a mod here that purports to do it:
https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48634
But this mod does nothing
Any ideas regarding what I should do? Maybe there is something in the ini file I am missing?
