Hey just wanted to drop by to thank you for this mod - it adds a great deal of realism to the game and I just love the yawning sounds for it

Just one thing that I just noticed: When I got to an inn with a companion (Viljia in that case, if it's of any importance), I told her to use her own bedroll to sleep. Since I was standing at the exact place I dropped my own bedroll (from this mod here) a few seconds before, the two bedrolls overlapped eachother.
When I tried to pick up my own roll then, the message *picked up bedroll* appeared, and the bedroll was indeed added to my inventory, but it also stayed on the floor.
I therefore could go ahead and pick it up again, which adds another bedroll to my inventory, with the original one still lying on the floor. One could go on like this as often as wanted and would get more and more bedrolls...

Since that seemed like a bug to me, I just wanted to mention that. I'm sorry if anyone here now gets offended with me posting a hint to duplicate bedrolls, but I really don't think that there's much to gain from duping bedrolls which one can sell for only 10 septims - so I don't think I did much harm by posting this

Anyway, apart from this (glitch perhaps?) I didn't notice anything negative about this mod so far - keep up the good work!

I think that you picked up Vilja's bedroll.

The use that Vilja makes of her own bedroll could be a bit bugged, at least in my game: even when I ask her to remove it, the bedroll remains there. She should make it disappear automatically when you tell her "Ok, let's go!" and she's running a relax package but this doesn't happen to me, and, as said, not even the forced removal function works, so I just disabled her bedrolls via the console until this mod arrived, and now I just place a bedroll by myself and she uses it automatically when told to relax.

Then, since I was in shortage of bedrolls and I'm still not aware where to purchase new ones, I thought to make Vilja drop her bedroll, then picked it up, and it happened as you said: I was able to pick up as many bedrolls as I wished, and so I did, then I told her to remove it and, to actually make it disappear, I used the disable command.

I wonder if there's a way to know which merchants sell the bedrolls (and if they restock). I've even tried to figure it by myself using the construction set but for now it seems there are almost none. In the Readme there's an hint concerning the "vendors that stock travel equipment", but fear I don't understand...

    ... from RealSleepExtended.ini
Set default timescale. This is the timescale used when none of the below states apply
; If all the other are non-zero, this will be used only when other settings below are higher or not used. Default 30
    and
If you set one of the settings below to 0, the mod will ignore that state.
Can someone explain me what if other settings below are higher but used and what if settings are not higher but not used?
And if some value is set to 0, does that mean that it's not used or it's not higher?

The mod selects the lowest timescale that is set to be used, for each specific situation. If you set the default timescale to 20 and the timescale in combat to 30, then the timescale will never go above 20, whether you're in combat or not.

If settings are not used (= 0), they will simply not affect the timescale. The lowest setting that is applicable will be used instead. If combat timescale is set to 0 (not used), inside timescale is 5 and default timescale is 10, then timescale will be 5 inside and 10 outside, whether you're in combat or not.

Works yes, but seams to bug out with my encumbrance. I have feather armor, rings, and if I unequip them my encumbrance doesn't change. Also if I cast any Feather spell my top jumps up like 50%, then returns once the spell wears off.

Looking for just a sleep debuff, like in Daggerfall, where if forced you to sleep or you passed out.
Thought this could do it but not sure.
Maybe I'm reading this wrong, that top bar (above hp) is my Sleep meter yes?

    OK figured this out.
Installed "HUD Status Bars" manually extracting "00Core" contents & "01 Vanilla Style"
Then installed "Real Sleep Extended" manually extracting "ini" "sound" "Textures" & the esp files.
Edit "Hud Status Bars.ini" and paste:

;==== Real Sleep Extended (2.5 or later)
    set tnoHSB.hud_color to sv_Construct"5+2*(tnoHSB.frac>0.28)+4*(tnoHSB.frac>.5)-10*(tnoHSB.frac>0.75)*(RSE.sleepVal>0)"
    set tnoHSB.hud_val to sv_Construct"RSE.sleepVal"
    set tnoHSB.hud_max to sv_Construct"RSE.sleepMax"
    set tnoHSB.hud_name to sv_Construct"Sleep: "
    set tnoHSB.hud_textColor to sv_Construct"tnoHSB.color"
set tnoHSB.hud_x toHUDbars; Same x pos as standard bars
set tnoHSB.hud_y toHUDbarsBelow; Right above standard bars
    set tnoHSB.hud_textPos_y to HUDtxtCenter
    set tnoHSB.hud_size to80
    SetStage tnoHSB 10

into the end of the file.
Also in the same ini I disabled all the "An alternative customized enemy health bar" stuff, by putting ";" in front of the lines.
    Modified Encumbrance code:
    set tnoHSB.hud_min to sv_Construct"GetBaseAV Encumbrance"
    and disabled:
    ;set tnoHSB.hud_name to sv_Construct"Enc: "
    ;set tnoHSB.hud_textColor to sv_Construct"tnoHSB.color"
    ;set tnoHSB.hud_textDisplay to HUDtxtValueOfMax

    Lastly I added:
    ; === Torch
; Display remaining time of equipped torch. Hide bar if you don't have a torch equipped (or it doesn't show in your hands).

    set tnoHSB.hud_color to sv_Construct"14-12*(tnoHSB.frac>0.28)+3*(tnoHSB.frac>.5)+5*(tnoHSB.frac>0.75)"
    set tnoHSB.hud_ref to sv_Construct"Player.GetEquippedObject 14"
    set tnoHSB.hud_val to sv_Construct"Player.GetEquippedTorchTimeLeft"
    set tnoHSB.hud_max to sv_Construct"GetLightDuration hud_ref"
    set tnoHSB.hud_visible to sv_Construct"Player.IsTorchOut"
    set tnoHSB.hud_type toHUDbarVertical
    set tnoHSB.hud_direction toHUDdirTop
    ;set tnoHSB.hud_direction toHUDdirSwitched
    set tnoHSB.hud_x to100
    set tnoHSB.hud_y to45
    set tnoHSB.hud_size to150
    SetStage tnoHSB 10

Not sure if that works atm though.

I also edited "Hud Status Bars - base.ini" and disabled the Encumbrance calculations to disabled.
    set tnoHSB.correct_encumbrance to 0
    And enable default health indicator
    set tnoHSB.hide_health_bar to 0
Also disabled all changed to the default compass by putting ";" in front of all "; == compass" lines.

I did not install any of the "HUD Alive" mod.

    From the description:

If you want to use my HUD Status Bars mod to display a status bar, install that mod, open its ini file and copy the three example Real Sleep Extended lines into one of the HUD bar lines.
    -----------------

I can't seem to find the three examples though.

Someone help me please. After getting up from the bed, the 1st person camera bugs out and is not synced with my character's body.

    Can anyone fix this?

I would really like to use this mod, but something that I can only blame on RSE is happening. Despite having plenty of rest ("you can go 20 hours before you need sleep" ) my character's Strength, Willpower, Agility, Endurance, and Personality have all dropped by 27 (yes, -27) and the rest by -1. I like to run 'realism mods' but when my fighter character cannot walk from one gate to another within Anvil without passing out, something is not right.

I run 'realistic fatigue' as well, and have never run into this problem. Any tips or assistance on how to make this work correctly would be welcome.
