Nice! I like that the hud is a bed and a turd floating in a toilet :)

    Your mod is best, but
How to switch on HUD elements, like at your screen?

    edit: screen http://s019.radikal.ru/i621/1711/79/3b770a2833fet.jpg

edit: ok, this problem is solved (change OBSE_Elys_Pluggy.dll to OBSE_Elys_Pluggy_HUD.dll), but now the most of time it transparent in gamemode
    (set kEatAndSleepQuest.pEatOpacity to 100
set kEatAndSleepQuest.pEatOpacity to 100 but nothing is happened)

    Hi!

I found bug in this great mod, if my exhaustion is 0 hour, and I sleep 12 hours on my own bed, then this sleep time is lost, nothing happen. 11 or 13 hours sleep time is working, my sleep bar is charged up.

    Thanks!

Hey totya4! If that bug happens all the time, I doubt that I can fix it. I don't have Oblivion nor the Construction Kit installed anymore. Maybe sleep for 11 hours then sleep for 1 as a work around? Sorry, mate. And thanks for checking out my Oblivion mods. I'm now in Skyrim and have most of my mods (including Eat and sleep) converted in Skyrim. Cheers!

    Hi!

I don't show new hud elements (bed etc) on the screen.

    Oblivion Patch is latest.

    All mod install via OBMM:

OBSE is latest (v0.20) , installed and working

HUD Status Bars is latest (5.3.2), installed and working, I see new style HUD.

Eat and sleep plugin 0p67 is latest, installed and working, I see new food menu, and I get messages food time etc.

What can I do exactly, if I want see "Eat and sleep" mod HUD items via "HUD Status Bars" ?

    Thanks!

Edit: Okay, this problem is solved, need to modify "Hud Status Bars.ini", examples: "Docs\Hud Status Bars ini file examples.txt"

it should be. I use OBSE's IsFood () to detect if an item is a food item.

Whoa! That's quite an achievement walking down THEN up the Grand Canyon. Then with a heavy pack, too. I've only looked down it from tourist area at the top.

But, yeah, I didn't like how the Eet/Sleep mods I tried before building mine had a massive toll on your character. Some even killed your character (i.e. put your Fatigue to the negative when all you needed was 2 hours rest). I've gone past the 24 hour mark of straight work with no sleep. And I play about 4 to 5 team sports a week - sometimes a couple games in one night. And I eat little.

Only when you truly ignore (i.e. ignore it for a long time) your needs do you feel their full effects.

That's cool, thanks. There was a subtlety in my question - whether setting the penalty to say 25 would mean you suffered 25% of the penalty or you suffered 75%. I think you meant it would be 25%.

I spent so long getting the settings of Realistic Fatigue finely balanced, it will combine well with this as a modest loss of fatigue will be enough incentive to keep well fed and rested.

You are right to make the penalty small. The human body can take a lot. Here's an example. I walked all the way down the Grand Canyon and back to the top with a heavy pack on with no breakfast and nothing to eat all day. It was a kind of experiment. I ran most of the way down and walked fast up, carrying a very heavy backpack. That's a lot of calories burned up without eating.

    No worries, hfffoman.

Yes...you only suffer 50% of the penalty during the endure time.
And endure time is dependent on your Willpower (for Exhaustion) and Endurance (for Hunger).

And no, you will see the effects immediately after the first hour of Exhaustion or Hunger.
You can see it in your Active Effects screen.
The value, however, is 50% during that endure time.
After that endure time, then you'll get the full version of the effects.
For preset 2 (the default), you'll get 50% of the effects in the first 12 hours.
After that, you'll get the full effects. When both exhausted and hungry, this is a big hit.
But it doesn't come until after 12 hours, so it gives you a bit of time to return to civilisation.
And the effects are minor anyway. You can still move around, you just can exert yourself too much - especially when playing with abo's Realisitc Fatigue mod.

Anyway, when you are exhausted or hungry, you'll need to sleep and eat to get them up to their 0 levels. But that doesn't leave you with any reserves. So you'll need to sleep and eat extra to get you those reserves for the day.

    Does this help?

    Edit:
    exhaustion endureTime = Willpower / 100 * maxEndureTime
    hunger endureTime = Endurance / 100 * maxEndureTime
so the higher your willpower or endurance the longer you will receive only 50% of the penalties. note however, that the penalties still increase per hour. and after that enduring exhaustion and hunger, you'll get the full effect - the crash.

Sorry to keep asking questions but I am enjoying getting this just as I want it.

Does "50% of hunger to endure during endure time" mean you suffer 50% of the penalty or you resist 50% of the penalty?

And just to double check - if you totally stuff yourself (an excellent sport) you will be fine for 24 hours (under default settings) then suffer partial penalties for 12 hours, then lose 5 from max fatigue per hour. Hunger level will then reach -24 and you then have to eat 24 units to get back to zero and recover the lost fatigue. Is that right?

Thanks again for your thoughts and great programming.
