I'm trying to get this mod to work. The mod music does not come on at all inside Roxey Inn which I'm using to test the mod. The ambient background music still plays. I've loaded the mod twice - followed instructions to the letter. I have all the routine Obl mods bang up to date, checked this with Wrye and OBMM and TES4 and can see no reason for failure. Tried different load orders and killed a few mods to check interference. Any clues - much appreciated! Thanks, Clive
Does it work if you have custom music in oblivion?Cause mine doesn't seem to be working. It does try to switch tracks but it ends up switching to another public track.
Following on from the other comments. I'm actually very surprised no one has made some real musicians for inns yet. Such as a lute player in the corner or such.
The v01 old version used to be normal sound, but i changed it because it started over EVERY time you would open your menu due to engine limitations. But it's the best shot for you.
Is there any way to make this and your other sound mods NOT be music, but actual sound files. I, for one, cannot use music in the game, for some odd reason it just doesn't work.
Please make a version that is actual sound files and not music!! I would love to use this!
I had that happen to me once too, and I can't really figure out why at some times it won't stop playing. The game should automatically resume playing the 'public' music tracks when exiting the inn/church. though when the inn music track ends, the game goes back to playing the normal music. The church mod and the inn mod use a very similar script so the problem may arise with both mods. It might be because of the function used to stream the music, which is according to the construction set wiki a bit faulty, but due to very limited music functions in CS i had to pick that one. You can also download the 0.1 version of the mod if you don't mind that the track restarts everytime you exit a menu or conversation.
A fine idea but I've had a small problem with the Inn Mod, the Church mod works with out a hitch. Inn music once started did not quite. The music is superb. I'd give it a 9 if I could get it to stop at the door.
A whole band? Can you imagine an entire band in Olav's Tap and Tack?!! How about just one guy sitting in the corner playing a fiddle or something. Or maybe in some of the larger/medium sized ones you have have a fiddle and a tin flute or a drum.
Probably have to change the music to fit that...since it sounds like there's full band music playing, but it'd probably fit better if it were just one or two piece compositions anyway.
