Attention: This is mainly a modders resource, but there is also a partially completed dungeon included.

If you don't want to know why I uploaded this I'll just tell you that the archive contains a new dungeon tileset I made. It has a very simple design as the main purpose of it was ease of use, 80s/early 90s CRPG dungeon feeling and good performance. Just have a look at the screenshots. There is also an esp with an unfinshed dungeon included. The esp is meant to be used as a modders resource as well, I would be glad if someone took the time to enhance and finish the dungeon I started.

Now the reason why I upload this incomplete resource (albeit the tileset itself is complete). I always wanted to make a Dungeon Master remake. In case you don't know the game - it's an old game from the 80s, the first 1st person RPG ever made that was worth mentioning and considered to be one of the best games ever made by some people (like me). I started twice now, but I always lost interest and had to concentrate on my main project 'Sheogorad'. The first time I made a tileset that looked as exactly as possible as the original Dungeon Master dungeons. But while it looked nice from a nostalgic point of view it looked too simple and repetitive for a modern game. So I started over and made this tileset. While it is still very simple at least it doesn't look completely out of place in a game like Oblivion. I wanted to keep the 80s dungeons atmosphere (where a dungeon was just that and had no purpose), make it easy to use and good for performance. The layout was meant to be similar to Dungeon Master - lots of puzzles in each level and not just monster bashing and looting like in Oblivion.

Since I doubt that I will ever find the time to finish it I upload it here so maybe someone else can make use of it. You can either use the tileset for your own projects or try to finish the dungeon that I began.

If you are a modder I hope you know what to do. If you are not and still want to have a look at the dungeon simply extract the archive into your Oblivion/Data folder and check the 'OldSchoolDungeons.esp'. You can find the dungeon south of Chorrol, just look at the map included in the archive.

== Permission ==

This is a modders resource and both the meshes/textures and the esp can be used for your own mods without asking me. Credits would be nice though.
