Finding a home is never easy, especially when you're as picky as I am. I like houses with cool functions, special features, hidden treasures. But once in a while, I give up all such
things for something so much simpler - function. A place to eat, sleep, store my crap, and this is my fourth or so house I've done for myself especially built for functional use. I wanted a nice, scenic view this time, so I chose the best spot I could find - west Anvil bay. The house is partially underground, with part of the top floor above ground, and the bottom floor completely underground.
The view overlooking the bay is spectacular, and amazingly, not too far out of the way of the town so as not to become a nuisance. It is geared towards my play style - no fast travel marker, no COBL sorter, just spartan furniture. As in, very little. This is for two reasons - I like to decorate my own houses with the Imperial Furniture mod, and I'm not fond of extended times in the CS when I could be playing. If you will notice, the location is prime for users of CLS Sailboat. I use it myself, and love it - and it did influence my choice of location.
