Not sure how well known this is, but apparently Bethesda planned to allow the option of Sulinus Vassinus doing the Skingrad recommendation quest for you for the price of 300 gold. All the dialogue options, scripts, everything is there. The only problem is that for the dialogue option to appear, the script requires his disposition with the player to be both less than zero and greater than or equal to 70. This mod removes the "less than zero" requirement and allows Sulinus to go to Bleak Flats Cave, kill the zombies, and bring Erthor back for you. You get all the credit for the rescue, all for the price of 300 gold. It also makes Sulinus essential so that the zombies don't kill him.
The only set back is that Sulinus requires "three or so" days to do the job. I ended up waiting about five or six days, when I could have easily done it in one and save 300 gold. This is mostly for higher difficulty settings or higher levels, when the zombies are stronger. If you don't feel like waiting, you can follow him without any problem. Think of it as having an essential companion
