Say you're working on a large mod (for the sake of example, Silgrad Tower or SoVvM) and you'd like to replace some older meshes you've made with better ones (for example, meshes from Phitt's soon to be released "Forsaken Isles" mod). Naturally, you'd have to find every object that uses that mesh and replace it with the new mesh.
The new mesh doesn't align perfectly with the old one, though, so every object that used the old mesh bleeds or floats with the new mesh. To fix it properly, you'd then have to track down every reference of every object that uses that mesh and tweak its position and rotation so that it doesn't bleed or float. This really becomes a project killer if you want to replace more than a few infrequently used meshes.
With this utility, though, you can automate the process. Given a file name or segment of text, this utility finds and replaces every reference to that file/text in a mod. The utility can modify file names, text, object positions, object rotations, and object scaling.
This utility is particularly useful for Morroblivion mods, and in fact started out trying to address some problems with replacing objects with the ESP Converter utility. (for everyone who doesn't know what Morroblivion is, I encourage you to google it).
