Wasn't it funny that your character could carry full steel plate armor and few swords, but after picking up 1 little strawberry he suddenly gets crushed under the mighty weight of his inventory? Well, this mod fixes that by degrading the character's performance in a 6 level system.

Now included in .zip file are 2 different mods with two versions of each, with or without "more realistic fatigue".

Mods are:

***More Realistic Fatigue (incorporated as optional)
- This mod tweaks the way that Fatigue functions. Fatigue will now be lost whilst running and also whilst casting spells.
- Mod created entirely by Mentalor, the one who has single handedly maintained Encumbrance mod so far.

***More Realistic Encumbrance mod
- Depending on how much you carry, your characters perfomance is gradually lowered with 6 level penalty system and when carrying too much, your character will collapse under the weight of your inventory.
- When you get encumbered with blurred version, you see the blur effect disrupting the character's vision.
- THE EFFECTS OF THIS MOD ARE FELT BEFORE YOU REACH YOUR MAXIMUM WEIGHT ALLOWANCE. If you want penalties only to affect you once you reach your maximum weight allowance please use one of the More Capacity Encumbrance ESP files.

***More Capacity Encumbrance mod
- Same as earlier, but the effects of the mod begin after you're carrying more than the characters maximum encumbrance is.

All the formulas on how the penalties are calculated can be found from the corresponding readme files.
The amount of penalties depends on which of the .esp files are currently active. Fatigue mod doesn't affect these

When you reach your maximum allowed carrying weight, you will get extra carrying capacity. Think of it as rearranging your backpack to better balance the weight you are carrying. The adjustment is calculated from your strength and willpower

When you reach Slight encumbrance any extra weight you pick up will lower your Fatigue regeration limit (allowing Oblivion to handle the effects of low Fatigue). The amount your regen limit is lowered is calculated per extra lb picked up using the formula:

Fatigue per lb = (200 - Endurance) / 100

** Future plans **

- If someone gives us good ideas on how to balance this or otherwise make it even better, We'll be glad to improve it.

None that we know of. Please let us know if you find any. (I'm playing with about 60 mods installed...and no problems so far. -Mentalor-)
