had a good idea for this but sadly I dont know how to make my own textures or where to start, So there my idea goes unless I make one effed up argonian lol.
I didn't yet get any further than this, the official pre-beta test-release of my Anthro-Dragon Race. Without any free time at all lately there hasn't been any progress for a year or so now. At least the little progress I made regardless is far from ready for another release. There's so much more to be done before I have something I could release again, but there's no free time to actually do it. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry but this resource is so heavily out-dated already, I cannot recommend its use anymore without getting nightmares.
There are no textures, because it was only meshes when it was first released. They're UV-mapped to make use of a full-body texture from Robert's Male though and for some time you could even use the body textures from my Anthro-Dragon Race for this.
However, after all this time now the geometry of the wings and the way they're used has changed drasticly, and you can no longer use the new Anthro-Dragon Race textures for these old meshes.
I'd advise using the newer wings from the Anthro-Dragon Race along with their textures instead. You will have to create your own body textures anyways, if you're going to make a new race, but then you'll at least have something to start from. Making the wing arms and -fingers of those use a different texture than your body's arms and hands though will require changes to some NIF settings. It was either this or one and the same skin tone on all dragons, as is the case with this resource as well.
No, it's certainly lost. But this wouldn't be an issue, as it would take me only 2 or 3 clicks in Blender and the current mesh would be rigged to the original bones again. Hail to the Blender Scripts!
However, at the moment I'm unable to do so, unfortunately, as all files are out of reach on a backup media, my laptop broke down and is now on its way to Dell for repairs, and the little netbook I'm currently working on can't run the necessary programs nor am I allowed to install any of these here. I'm really sorry.
I'd like to know if you have kept the original file. The one riged to regular bones of robert's male body that can be seen in your "Anthro-Dragon Race WIP - New Wings in Motion" because I'm really a newb in modelling and I don't know how to rig them to another bones and it's really an excellent mesh. So please upload it if you can.
You'll have to use the skeleton.nif or skeletonbeast.nif coming with it, of course, whichever your race is using, and then I think for starters it should be enough to simply assign the wings' nif file to your race's tail slot.
Then create some fitting animations for them and select a way to make your race using them, else they will remain in the rigging pose, spread apart like huge sails all the time. I'm hesitant to make animations replace existing ones, like idle.kf (which would be the most easiest way, create your own idle.kf), and am instead trying to create a way of scripted animation playback... but that's a bit more complicated... and for your intentions it might be sufficient to replace some of the existing animations instead, I don't know.
