Sadly, this doesn't seem to work for me. I guess my cause must be different, because ever since I took my computer in for repairs (they say all they did was update drivers), both Oblivion AND Skyrim give the "***** has stopped working" error when exiting, and while it only happens with them when they're MODDED, other games give me that error when running... None of them did so before the repairs, as I tested them all just a week prior.
I HAVE have issues with Oblivion crashing on exit months earlier, however, so I thought this would help. :( I guess in my case it must be a driver, but since I didn't install them myself, I wouldn't know which.
