The new island is charming, the main quest is very immersive and I spent many hours playing. What I mainly regret is the dialogs are sometimes funnier than anything else, the fact of having to push all the buttons at the end of the final quest that make the player go by turn silent, naked and blind was more boring than funny and the maze just after annoyed me so much I had to disable the collisions. The quest where it's got to gather various ingredients is more boring than fun for me but excepting it this mod is among my favorite ones and I already played plenty.
I have completed six side-quests and the miners' quest and found Stirk to be excellent. There is room for improvement, and there are a few odd bugs, but largely this is a wonderful addition for low-level characters. The new island is well designed, the village is excellent and the quests very well thought out. I would strongly recommend everyone give this mod a try!
Just getting around to endorsing this great addition to the oblivion game world. I tried Stirk quite some time ago, and really liked it.
But at the time was rather inexperienced with mod installation, and could never get the map fix to work properly. Now with the new Dynamic Map mod by The Nice One which is so easy to use I am able to enjoy Stirk and have a properly functioning map.
It is a very nice made mod, so I endorse it, also the readme and the description page should be corrected elsewhere others might be confused as well
Here some things I came around. May they help somebody else.
1. It seems that the readme has the scribal error. No problem with OOO so far.
2. Also in my Oblivion.ini bBorderRegionsEnabled is set to 1, I could not "go this way". By the way here is the description wrong it MUST be set to 1. If it is already LEAVE IT! If you encounter also this problem, solve it like @infmaniac with TES4Gecko or like me with TES4Edit and delete the subrecord in TR_Stirk.esp. With TES4Edit: choose TR_Stirk.esp, click o.k, when finished click on the esp, then Worldspace and already you have the entry Tamriel with yellow background. Click on Tamriel, choose Referenced by, there you will find the subrecord Stirk border. Delete it, now you can go.
3. If you do not want to use the Stirk map, maybe because you have also Bartholm, Elsweyer, Sutch, NRB, WR ... you have of course to do the steps of the readme of Stirk, but if you also use Map Marker Overhaul and Elven Map Compilation, use the "dds" of the Compilation instead and do not forget to install also MergedMaps.esp in the Compilation. Otherwise you will wonder, why the heck your map markers are not where they should be.

Thanks! Any good extension to the playing geography of this game is great by me!
Extremely well done mod and interesting storyline. Great attention to detail.
