Name: No looting during combat
Version: 0.6
Date: 3 January 2011
Category:
Requirements: Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.214, Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE)
Author(s): kuertee
Source: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21662
Changes since last release (0.51)
=================================
0.6, 3 January 2011:
Tweak: Previously, you cannot loot containers even when your opponents are behind lock doors.
Line-of-sight is now the only determining factor on whether you can loot a container during combat.
This is still not perfect: e.g. a melee opponent should be able to interrupt your looting once it rounds the corner that obstructed LOS.
But it's still better than in the normal game.
0.51, 2009 January 10:
You can now loot during combat providing that:
1. no attackers are melee combatants and
2. you are hidden (not in line-of-sight) from ranged or spell combatants
Bug-fix: You can now loot the unconscious providing that the same conditions above are met.
Description
===========
Prevents looting when the player is in combat.
Details
=======
With OBSE, this mod will close the Container/Barter, Book, and Lockpicking menus when they are opened during combat.
This mod is compatible with Zumbs Lockpicking Mod.
Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the kuerteeNoLootingDuringCombat.esp file.
Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the kuerteeNoLootingDuringCombat.esp file.
2. Delete the kuerteeNoLootingDuringCombat .esp and .txt files.
Incompatibility
===============
Will conflict with other mods that has a script that is triggered when the Container/Barter, Book, and/or Lockingpicking menus are accessed when the player is in combat.
Currently, I know of no such mod.
Known Issues or Bugs
====================
As of OBSE v0016 beta 2, the ClickMenuButton doesn't seem to work with the Lockpicking menu.
Until this is fixed, the Lockpicking menu will still be accessible during combat.
