About this mod

Fight against the Knights Templar to protect a secret your family has kept for generations.

Permissions and credits
DESCRIPTION
Fight against the Knights Templar to protect a secret your family has kept for generations.

REQUIRED
1.- TES4 Oblivion with latest patch (because that's the environment in which I created the plugin)
2.- Edit Oblivion.ini (usually in ~/My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/ ) to remove in-game
borders:
bBorderRegionsEnabled=0

SUGGESTED
Natural Waters plugin by Max Tael for full visual effect of Glow Water cave.

INSTALL
1.- Copy the Data directory into your Oblivion game directory. The Data directory includes a
number of files that do not change anything on the original game or any mods I know of.
2.- Check box next to "templars.esp" in the Data Files section of the game launcher,
lanunch the game, and off you go to:

STARTING POINT
The first quest will start when you load any saved game or start a new one.

DISCLAIMER
Plugin as is; me not responsible for misuse or breakage of anything; if you re-do it or improve on it, just throw me bone and mention me, although not my intellectual property, since I just manupulated Bethesda Softworks' stuff, who created this incredible and very addictive game.

BUGS
- The pathfinder axe ground model doesn't respond to the game engine, as I moved the
CapsuleShape to force the player to hold the axe lower than the game default. If you drop it, it
will float on the air.
- The Knight Templar helmets don't un-equip automatically when changing helmets.
- The Templar tabards get a little too shiny indoors.
- There are no female versions of the Templar armors (not really a bug, just thought that there is
no record of females ever being Templars.. yeah, I know)

I apologize in advance as I will not be correcting these bugs; I have discovered Fallout 3, another outstanding game by Bethesda Softworks; basically a post-apocalyptic Oblivion. I'll probably start working on retex/mods for it.

BACKGROUND
This mod is actually 3 small mods that I was working on and decided to put together since they semed short on their own.

The Pathfinder mod was just an armor and weapon mod based on the movie Pathfinder, in which Vikings wear "hodge-podge" armors that combine leather, steel, chainmail, etc. Some of their shields have spikes just like the Blackwood company shields.

I started working on the Templar mod after watching the movie Kingdom of Heaven.

And obvioulsy, the Pirates of the Abecean mod... yeah. been watching too many movies.

... but don't forget to salt the fries.
