About this mod

Texture replacers, one for the Legion cuirass, one for the armors of the Imperial Watch and the Palace Guards.

Changelog:
Uploaded a new version of the "No Replacer" version. It now features two skirts, one for the Legion armor, one for the Templar armor. MW Style.
They're not perfect; in my opinion, they are too long. But I don't know how to change that. If anyone is interested in helping me out here, I'd be very grateful.

Uploaded a new file called "MW Style Legion Armors No Replacer". Please use this one if you want to use the textures as a resource in your own mod.
There's a meshes folder included which basically contains the vanilla meshes placed in a new folder and with new texture paths. If you want to use other meshes, like the ones from OOO with the cape, you don't need that one, of course. The textures should, however, stay where they are. :-)

Morrowind Style Legion Armors v1.0
==================================

Description:
There are two files available. One simply retextures the cuirass of the Imperial Legion to resemble the one from Morrowind - black, with horses and leaves on it. The other one retextures the whole armor set of the Imperial Watch and Palace Guard (the latter is only a more decorated cuirass). This one is supposed to resemble the Templar Armor from Morrowind. I'm not as happy with the result as I am with the Legion cuirass, so I might update it some time.

Installation:
Extract the archives (or only one of them, whichever you prefer) to your Oblivion/Data folder. Click "Yes to overwrite" if necessary.

Notes:

- In OOO, most of the Legion armors are replaced with new ones that use different textures. So right now, you won't be able to see the MW Style Legion cuirass very often ingame if you're using OOO. I'll try to change that in the future.

- Morrowind's legion armor also included a purple skirt, and the Templar armor had a tan skirt. I haven't been able to find skirt meshes that have the proper length, but I'll continue my search, and will eventually make a version that has these skirts as an option.

I hope you like it!

Oh, yeah - this is a resource, feel free to use it in your mods as long as you give me credit!
Use the file "No Replacer" for that, it puts the textures (and the according vanilla meshes) in my default resource folder.

Credits:
Fearabbit - I made everything (call me Mr Vain!)
Durza - he gave me his ideas for the skirt textures, for which I am grateful, otherwise I wouldn't have added these skirts, and I think they came out very beautiful, so that would've been a shame. :)
