This house is astonishing. Beautiful design, very original, well integrated with the surroundings. Each room was a new revelation. The animations (on my system) were smooth with no lags. I look forward to more updates! A definite 10!
@ grif333: Yea, due to the way that the house has been made it can get pretty choppy on lower end computers. 2 reasons I left the house reasonably bare, 1 was the fact that I knew there was going to be a performance hit and the other was to give people room to decorate to their tastes.
To everyone: A new release is on it's way to fix up a couple of things and add some things that were suggested, such as doors on the bedroom upstairs.
If you do have any suggestions, do feel free to send me an email. The address is in the readme. Also looking for someone to test it for me, if you are keen, send me an email as well.
the best word i can use here on this one is unique. ive never seen anyone do this idea before. the things put into it are amazing at the concept level. each room was full of eye candy, loved it. ill be keeping this one.
pros: well done overall. minimal clutter kept the layout clean but populated. things were easy to find. the walk in closets were a nice touch. the way the effects were implemented was very nice and putting toggles on em was cool.the elevator was nice! so many unique things. i hope you continue this project.
cons: might be my pc but the biggest issue i had was it did get pretty choppy. turn on all lights on first floor, keep grass and trees un-culled and i had to walk, no running just to keep up. that issue lessened in the lower floors but was still there. im using an ati radeon 9800 pro if it helps. also my companion wouldnt come inside. red sonia V.2. other companions likely wont either. not sure. a minor issue. got stuck on the steps to spellmaking, just run but it wasnt a smooth ride lol. the clipping was there but not an issue overall. if you update this i want a copy, thx!
i have minimal exp. at this stuff btw. just a user who appreciates all guys like you do. i run c-strike servers. so i understand time vs. demand. good luck.
After running conflict detection in OBMM and changing load order, I have gotten away from the CTD and can now go into the basement. I must say, the basement is incredible. Well done.
@ samusaran589, I plan on adding doors to the room upstairs but I ran out of time to put them in. It's a rather time consuming process since everything has to built around vanilla objects like a giant puzzle.
Not to sure what is going to be causing that CTD, it could be a conflict but I will have a poke around and see if I can come up with something.
