Today's Oblivion's 18th birthday which is just mind-blowing to me. I've still got vivid memories of rushing home from school to spend all day playing it. I love the game with all my heart and it'll forever be my all time favourite game.
Fort Munlo is the first public mod I made for Oblivion after years of making strange little things - such as Mannimarco face presets, haha. As the years went by, I decided to unlist the mod as it really wasn't very good; but now it feels appropriate to make it public again. It was the start of my journey (or descent into madness...) of modding, and eventually becoming a game developer.
I've dug up the original screenshots from my old Xfire account which I've re-uploaded, but otherwise I'm leaving everything else unchanged, like a time capsule. As I said, it really isn't very good but I think it's charming.
Happy Birthday, Oblivion. And thank you for this masterpiece of a game, Bethesda. <3
Original description
This mod creates a Fort next to Anvil with a small quest (just a mini goblin hunt) that will make you Lord of the fort. The interior includes:
Lord's Quaters - It is done in a unique way using some parts from Cloud Ruler Temple. This room includes lots of storage which should be safe. The room also has a "bathroom" but it is only eyecandy
Servant's Quaters - Nothing special, just has 3 lower class double beds for the servants and a minibar in there too for the servants
Castle Barracks - Barracks for the Castle Guard and Captain Morin (the Castle Guard Captain)
Kitchen - Where the cook works (duh!). It has a Cooking range that when you activate it it adds beef and a Wine Keg (Now Works)
Dining hall - explains itself
Dungeon - In the exterior Barracks
The exterior includes:
NEW - Chapel where every Sundas, the servants and guard captains go to hear the Priest pray
Barracks - Where the guards who guard the exterior rest
Gatehouse - Where the archers who guard the top of the walls rest.
there is 1 secret place. It is at the very bottom of the page, so scroll down if you want to know where it is.
