A growing collection of new weapons to add to Oblivion. Oblivions Arsenal currently has 3 blades and 2 blunts but not so blunt axes o.O. is a wip to create a full matching set.
Location

In the Imperial City at A Fighting Chance, bring your coin. If not break into the CS and do your thing.

Update:04/29/08. For those keeping tabs on the project thanks for your patience. I am currently reworking all textures and redoing some parts of the mesh. It may be a few weeks till I get something I am happy with. I will also include another weapon or two depending upon the time I have.

My first mostly custom weapon's mod made that I think everyone may enjoy. It is called Oblivion's Arsenal forged from a long forgotten plane of Oblivion and a case of beer in front of my pc ;P. This is basically in a beta phase hoping to get some constructive criticism. In the future I plan on adding some particle effects and to do some further mesh smoothing (I'm trying to keep the file small).

These are unenchanted blank versions so break out those sigil stones (Except the longsword but you take the enchanting off via the CS). Future versions I will update to shortly with will have it enchanted to the way I envision it. It will be somewhat balanced out but tipping the scales of course ;).

The rose pommel, grip and gem I butchered from Bethesda's originals. The blade and hilt are completely meshed out from scratch. There are other similar tuning-fork type swords out there (thats why I made mine with the spear tip coming out the center). I also butchered some of Bethesda's textures to help get the effect I was looking for.

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)\Oblivion\Data\ (So you get file overwrite warnings of course)
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Oblivions_Edge', place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s).

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.

Oblivion\Data\Textures\Alchilion\ (obvious 4 files)
Oblivion\Data\Textures\menus\Icons\weapons\""


Upgrade
=======
Same thing as the Install just make sure you hit "yes to all" so every file is overwritten to get updated.

History
=======
v0.3 -Added yet another two weapons - Oblivions Resolve (2handed axe) and oblivions Perseverance (1handed axe)
-Smoothed out all meshes (Light will no longer reflect off surfaces so that each triangle in the mesh is visible
A MAJOR IMPROVEMENT LOL
-Fixed some spelling errors lol
V0.2 -Added two new weapons - Oblivions Revenge (2handed sword) and Oblivions Endeavor (dagger)
-Decreased the size of the pommel on Oblivions Edge (longsword)

There shouldn't be any if so please let me know

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
None so far, everything seems to work fine. Only minor thing I noticed so far is the collision data I rigged up for makes it do some funny things when dropped on the ground sometimes, rarely noticeable but I thought I should put that out there.
