- Fixed a wrong path for texture in Mask .nif (it will be fine if you also use my 30lv+ Francesco's item mod.
- Made the mask more beautiful
- Adjusted the level of the sigil stone requirement to be linear 21, 25, 29, 33 since most people won't go as high as level 43.
- Palonirya now carries 3 copies of the stone, so hopefully there is no need to wait for respawn.

What this mod does
==================

This mod places 4 more levels of very expensive yet adequately enhanced Sigil Stones, available at level 22, 28, 35 and 43, at Palonirya, the owner of Divine Elegance and Master Mercantile trainer in the Imperial City.

Usage
=====

The enchanting procedure is the same as the original game. Select your Sigil Stone, and you can enchant its magical effects on an unenchanted armor/ weapon. Note that ALL of the effects will go on the Armor or Weapon, not just one of them as in the vanilla game.

More Information on new Sigil Stones
====================================

Within each quality level, there are 11 varieties of the new Sigil Stones, all with useful properties.

For Weapons (4 kinds):

- Soul Trap + One of the three Elemental Damages + One of the three Elemental Weakness
- Soul Trap + Various Damages (Fire, Frost, Shock, Health) + Weakness to Magicka

For Armors (7 kinds):

- Fortify one of the three melee Weapon Skills + Fortify Strength + Restore Fatigue
- Fortify Marksman + Fortify Agility + Fortify Speed
- Fortify HP + Restore HP
- Fortify Magicka + Restore Magicka + Fortify all six Magical Schools
- Magic Resistance + Shield

Extra:

Zoom Mask (a clothing piece, bips "Tail"):
Effect: Fortify Marksman + Farther Zoom (zooming bonus requires OBSE to work)
There are four varieties, available at level 5, 10, 15 and 20. They are not as expensive as the advanced Sigil Stones.

New Sigil Stones also comes with unique icons.

Requirement

- No other mod is required.
- Your character needs to be at least level 22, 28, 35 and 43 to make these items available.

Install
=======

1. Just like any other mod. Open the ./Data folder, and copy the High_Level_Sigil_Stones_Maltz.esp, ./Meshes and ./Textures, (essentially everything) into your own Oblivion ./Data folder. Answer YES to everything - nothing will be overwritten.

2. Load "High_Level_Sigil_Stones_Maltz.esp" just like any other mod. Load order should not matter.

Uninstall
=========

Simply delete High_Level_Sigil_Stones_Maltz.esp. You can also remove any folder (and sub-folder under it) that is called ./mzss.

Why did I make this mod
=======================

Disappointed that Sigil Stones reaches its best quality at a super-lowly level 17? Having way too much cash piled up later in the game? Disappointed by many new weapons and armors with unsatisfactory custom enchantment?

This mod is a personal attempt to resolve all of the above problems at once. This mod was made for my own enjoyment but I believe many people will find it useful as well.

Design Notes
============

- The Sigil Stones are placed into a merchant chest that respawns, so you can purchase more than one of each variety. Depend on your game setting, resetting may take 3 days or more (don't enter the shop in between).

- I tried to minimize overlaps, so every single variety of the advanced Sigil Stones have their unique appeal to different types of characters. For example, Fortify Strengh and Fortify melee Weapon Skill are merged since they both increases melee damage.

- I tried my best to reasonably balance these new Sigil Stones so they are neither too weak nor overpowered. For example, in Vanilla Sigil Stones the Fortify Magicka line goes from 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50. The new levels then give you 55, 60, 65 and 70 points of bonus as a natural, weaker extension of the fast-rising ladder (plus a tiny amount of Restore Magicka as a bonus).

- Vanilla sigil stones for weapon enchantment is totally useless. Therefore, I used the maximum Grand Soul gem enchantment (85 mana per use, 1600 charges in total) as the base, and worked out slightly better versions. The "comb" enchantment (with all four damages) are slightly less effective than the specialized Fire/Frost/Shock variety to reflect "Jack of all trades, master of None".

- The Fortify Stats/Skill line is particularly useful if you are using mods that allow you to reach higher skill levels than 100 and makes a difference in the game. I recommend "Ely's Uncapper" (requires OBSE).

- I purposely excluded already over-powered effects such as "Reflect Damage", "Drain Health", "Chameleon", and nearly useless effects such as "Absorb Attribute", "Burden", etc. Buffs such as "Detect Life", "Feather", "Night Eyes", "Water Breathing" have already reached maximum usefulness in the vanilla versions & spells, so they are not covered here.

- If my modding skill improves, there will be quests leading to the availability of these advanced Sigil Stones. Their appearances and names might be totally different to fit the story. For now a healthy bank account is all you need.
