About this mod

This mod simply changes the birthsigns to what I consider more useful, yet more balanced.

Changes to each of the birthsigns are detailed as follows:

The Apprentice
The Apprentice ability confers a 100-point bonus to your Magicka attribute, but gives you a 100% weakness to magic. With the Meditate lesser power, you can enter a trance to regenerate an additional 3 points of Magicka per second for 30 seconds, though you will be unable to move or cast spells during this time.

The Atronach
With the Atronach ability you don't regain Magicka over time. Instead you have a 50% spell absorption to recharge your Magicka. Your base Magicka is also increased by 150 points. Once per day you can cast the Cannibalize power to convert 100 Health and Fatigue to 100 Magicka. With the Mana Vampire lesser power, you can absorb 50 magicka from enemies by touch at a cost of 100 Fatigue.

The Lady
The Lady's Blessing confers bonuses of 10 points to your Personality, Willpower, and Endurance attributes.

The Lord
Being born under the Lord gives you the Blood of the North lesser power to regenerate up to 90 points of Health. However, you also gain the Trollkin curse, a permanent 25% weakness to fire, though it does confer a small permanent Health regeneration rate of 1 point per second.

The Lover
Use the Lover's Kiss power once a day to paralyze an opponent for 10 seconds at the cost of 120 points of Fatigue. The Lover also grants a permanent 50% resistance to paralysis.

The Mage
The Mage ability permanently increases the Magicka regeneration rate by 2 points per second.

The Ritual
Those born under the Ritual use the Mara's Gift power once a day as a powerful restore Health spell. The Blessed Word can turn the undead. The Ritual also grants the Ritual of Restoration power, which restores up to 100 in every attribute and cures all afflictions, once per day.

The Serpent
With the Serpent you gain a permanent 100% resistance to poison. You also gain the Star Curse greater power to cause a slow but potent poison on touch, while dispelling magic on yourself. Casting this spell costs 100 points of Fatigue. You also gain the ability to sense nearby souls at will with the Soul Hunger lesser power.

The Shadow
Use the Moonshadow power once a day to cast Invisibility for 60 seconds. The Shadowfade lesser power allows you to become invisible at will for 5 seconds, at the cost of 100 Fatigue and being silenced for 10 seconds. The Shadow also grants a permanent 50% resistance to disease.

The Steed
The Steed ability grants a bonus of 20 to your Speed attribute. With the Beast of Burden power, you can lighten your load by 300 pounds for 5 minutes, at a cost of 1 point of Fatigue per second, once per day.

The Thief (unchanged)
The Thief ability grants a 10-point bonus to your Agility, Speed, and Luck attributes. The Thief can also steal an enemy's life force with the Twilight Reaving (Absorb Fatigue 50; Absorb Magicka 50; Absorb Health 50; Soul Trap 30 seconds), once per day.

The Tower
With the Tower Key power, once a day open a door or container of Hard lock level or less. The Tower Warden reflects 5 points of damage for 120 seconds once a day. Finally, the Tower Buttress ability permanently fortifies Health by 25 points.

The Warrior
The Warrior ability grants a bonus of 10 points to your Strength and Endurance attributes, a permanent 10% resistance to normal weapons, and a small (1 pt.) Fatigue regeneration bonus.

Incompatibility
===============
Obviously this should only conflict with another mod that alters the birthsigns or the powers/abilities associated with them. That's all that this mod impacts, so no other conflicts are possible. I personally run this with over 150 mods (including most of the "big ones") without problem.

Load Order:
This is a fairly harmless plugin, so it doesn't matter much where you put it in the load order. If anything that modifies the above is loaded afterwards, though, it will undo some of what this mod sets out to accomplish. I leave it to your discretion, though I personally have it loaded last to insure nothing overwrites what few changes this mod effects. Other than that, I cannot provide any further support on load orders, so please don't ask.
