Hmm... Seems I can grab it and make it to work with Ren's eye mesh.(you know, converting default eye texture for Ren's eye is a bit easier than converting default eye texture for Elaborate Eyes) Though it may need some edit.
aegnor81, I'm sorry to hear about your problem. But the only thing this mod does is replace the original eye textures with slightly altered images, so it should in NO WAY cause ANY problems like black eyes or any other problems.
Are you using any custom races or other character appearance mods? I'm sorry I can't be more help.
hey mate, dl'ed this a couple of days ago and have problems, cos now all the default eyes are black, i dont have any eye mods in my game so I guess this mod must be the source of the problem, any feedback on how to counter it?
Thanks for the comments. LFact is right that there are many features of EE that you can't do with the default eye setup. But this is a good compromise for people who only use 'normal' eyes and have compatibility issues with EE. I made this for personal use, but I'm glad you like it.
But, I don't think you can use so-called 'Odd-Eye'(Heterochromia) textures with vanilla eye mesh.(you know, EE contains several heterochromia eye textures)

I've never understand why EE needs other meshes so that the loading order is relevant.
Good job!
