GOSH adds its own weapon sounds, so you won't hear SoV hit and sheath/unsheath sounds. Needs a patch.

sounds awesome, love how close it feels to vanilla.

    endorsed.

A video to demo some of the sounds would be great though.

They sound nice but I cannot seem to get them to work. I'm using WryeBash and used Boss on my load order and then made the Bashed Patch. I see the audio files in the data folder, but I don't hear them in game. Any help, please?

Also can I use this in combination with other sound mods? (like Audia Arcanum or Atmospheric Oblivion)

Doesnt work with Oblivion Stutter Remover. I've heard people say there is a fix for this and i've tried tweaking the INI but to no avail, even downloaded the OSR sound fix didnt work. Help?

This would be VERY strange as SoV is a sound mod, there is nothing here that looks like remotely incompatible with OSR.

What you might want to do is to post about it in OSR thread, as OSR may cause lost of sound of weapons hitting something (it's quite a rare issue though). ANY weapon sound, not necessarily form SoV, but from vanilla Oblivion.

Supierce may be able to help there.

I believe if you look under requirements in the stutter remover you can find the fix.
dont ask me how its just there.

Oh, this might explain why none of my weapons make a sound, which is why I'm downloading this in the first place...

This is already my favourite Oblivion mod and I literally just installed it! I was trying every weapon in the game (and started a guard riot in Anvil in the process) and my love for bow and arrow increased when the wire sound of letting go of the arrow played! A well deserved endorsement.

I can't seem to get this mod working whatsoever. I am running a multitude of other sound mods though that are most likely conflicting with this mod so don't take this as a complaint.

I've listened to the sound files in the zip and they all sound very good. I wish I could use them but I don't think that is happening lol. However, I will endorse this mod because the sounds are better than the vanilla sounds. Best of luck to everyone else.

Perhaps try to use Message Logger and see if it mentions anything related to sound after game session?

I have only one question: Does this change the horrible sound of moving in heavy armor?
I'm a LARPer and wear plate armor irl, and while its far from comfortable, the clinking and clanking when moving around and fighting is just... There's no words to describe it. For medieval fantasy geeks like me, its like an orgasm for my ears.
Anyway, i love it when mods add proper sounding heavy armors. Does this mod do that?

EDIT: No it dosnt No mather, i added the sounds myself..

Might be a good idea to release those sounds as a separate mod. Just something to consider. I'm sure many ppl would love more realism.

Oh, and if you do release it, you might want to inform broader community on http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/25-oblivion-mods/
