      use the console

      modpcmiscstat 32 x
32 is the StatNum for murders;  x is an integer, positive to raise the count, negative to lower it
careful not to lower below 0, or you will get an a register rollover, but you can fix that by adding count until it rolls over the other way to 0

the console command and the statNum for 33 statistics are documented here:
      https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console_Command_Tutorial#ModPCMiscStat_StatNum_.23

      the page says
Note: This command has been disabled in the GOTY Edition
but I know that it works for the GOG one

It's not resetting my murder count for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I cant lower my Murders for some reason....
In Detail:I cast the spell go thrught like 2 pages then select it click lower 1 and....it dosent say anything like ur muders have been lowered by one Nothing.
Then when i try to lower it again(even know it dident work the first time)I cast it a gain to thrught like 2 pages click on the Murders and it dosent come up with a menu!
So dose anyone know the problem?

    Cheers ^^

According to my stats page I'm a kleptomaniac serial murderer when I'm more of a squeaky clean Paladin. I mean, One time I was walking through skingrad and people started screaming "thief" at me... because a bandit was flogging a sheep.

You'd think Bethesda would bug test a little better xD

This is cool, but is there anyway to make it so you choose what to set it back to. Like I picked 159 nirnroots but because one of my mods gives me nirnroots the game says I have found 659 nirnroots. I have stolen 5-6 things not zero nor 569.

*Cries* OMG!! Thank you so very much! I think I now can play my old char Katherine! Because in some way My SI bounty said.. -29193483999 or something like that. And all the Guards allways followed me without reason. <img class=">

player.addspell AAResetScriptSpell so this is a spell with a menu. just to clarify . I like this idea. I still get false thefts and murders even though I have a patch to prevent guild expulsions. I was hoping the Unofficial Patch team would have solved this by now.

I'm not sure but I believe there is another global or script variable that gets set in a murder that is not affected by ModPCMiscStat 32.

A complimentary mod to this would be Misc Tracker

    FILE DESCRIPTION
All this mod does is notify you when your fame, infamy, or bounty go up. If it's your bounty it will try to tell you what you did wrong (murder, theft, assault). It also notifies you if you've murdered somebody, whether you got a bounty for it or not. Each message informs you the amount that the stat raised by and what its new total is. It's great for people who don't like to continually check their misc stats page, but want to be kept aware of certain changes.

    downloading. Thanks raziel23x

Update works fine so I used TES4Gecko to merge Misc Tracker and youur mod with my Temp theft Guild fix. the all work fine in one little 25 KB esp. Thanks agaian for the great idea/mod.
