The Mod Compatibility Project is a series of .esp files designed to allow mods that normally overwrite each others' changes to be 100% compatible. Some entirely replace a mod's normal .esp, while others are designed to be used in conjunction. You can tell which is which as the former will be called "Mod X for Mod Z.esp", while the latter will be called "Mod X - Mod Y Patch.esp". So far, the available .esp files are:

Atmospheric Oblivion - AWS Patch: Adds the new regional weather from HTF's Atmospheric Weather System to the changes to regional sounds made by piratelordx's Atmospheric Oblivion. AWS-Core.esm is required, and Atmospheric Oblivion.esp is highly recommended (but not essential); Atmospheric Oblivion - AWS Patch.esp should be loaded after both.

Atmospheric Oblivion - MMM Patch: Adds sounds from piratelordx's Atmospheric Oblivion to five corpses modified by Martigen's Monster Mod. Mart's Monster Mod.esm, Mart's Monster Mod.esp, and Atmospheric Oblivion.esp are all required; Atmospheric Oblivion - MMM Patch.esp should be loaded after all three. It shouldn't matter whether Atmospheric Oblivion.esp is loaded before or after Mart's Monster Mod.esp.

Atmospheric Oblivion - OOO Patch: Adds sounds from piratelordx's Atmospheric Oblivion to eight corpses modified by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm, Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp, and Atmospheric Oblivion.esp are all required; Atmospheric Oblivion - OOO Patch.esp should be loaded after all three. It shouldn't matter whether Atmospheric Oblivion.esp is loaded before or after Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp.

FineWeapons for OOO: A modified version of the .esp from Windsurfer's FineWeapons that adds Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul's changes to rusty iron armor and weapon stats. Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm and Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp are both required; FineWeapons for OOO.esp should be loaded afterwards. FineWeapons.esp is *not* required, although FineWeapon's meshes and textures do need to be installed.

Qarls Harvest - OOO Patch: Adds Qarls Harvest's horse feeding script, horse meat, and dog meat to horses and dogs modified and added by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm, Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp, Qarl's Harvest.esm, and Qarl's Harvest.esp are all required; Qarl's Harvest - OOO Patch.esp should be loaded after all four. It shouldn't matter whether Qarl's Harvest .esm is loaded before or after Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm, nor whether Qarl's Harvest .esp is loaded before or after Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp.

RustyItems for OOO: A modified version of the .esp from Windsurfer's RustyItems that adds Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul's changes to rusty iron armor and weapon stats. Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm and Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp are both required; RustyItems for OOO.esp should be loaded afterwards. RustyItems.esp is *not* required, although RustyItem's meshes and textures do need to be installed.

Slof's Oblivion Robe Trader - OOO Patch: Adds the new meshes and textures from Slof's Oblivion Robe Trader to several robes and hoods modified by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, and gives several new Robe Trader's robe and hood of Arkay to Priest of Arkay modified by OOO, and gives various new items added by Robe Trader to certain NPCs modified by OOO. Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm, Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp, and Slof's Oblivion Robe Trader.esp are all required; Slof's Oblivion Robe Trader - OOO Patch.esp should be loaded after all three. It shouldn't matter whether Slof's Oblivion Robe Trader.esp is loaded before or after Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp.

Jade Dishes for MMM Hunting & Crafting: A Modified version of the .esp from Fyrestorm's Jade Dishes that adds a couple of items from Mart's Monster Mod - Hunting & Crafting to two loot lists.Mart's Monster Mod.esm, Mart's Monster Mod.esp, and Mart's Monster Mod - Hunting & Crafting.esp are required; Jade Dishes for MMM H&C.esp should be loaded after all three. Jade Dishes.esp is *not* required, although Jade Dishes' meshes and textures do need to be installed.

Knights - AWS Patch: Adds the new regional weather from HTF's Atmospheric Weather System to the changes to regional sounds made by Knights of the Nine. AWS-Core.esm is required, and Knights.esp is highly recommended (but not essential); Knights - AWS Patch.esp should be loaded after both.

***NEW***

Atmospheric Oblivion - Real Lights Patch: Adds new sound affects from piratelordx's Atmospheric Oblivion to seven lights altered by Josef K.'s Real Lights. Atmospheric Oblivion.esp is required, and _Real Lights.esp is highly recommended (but not essential); Atmospheric Oblivion - Real Lights Patch.esp should be loaded after both. It shouldn't matter whether Atmospheric Oblivion.esp is loaded before or after _Real Lights.esp.

Note: there is a very small overlap between Atmospheric Oblivion - Real Lights Patch and MIS New Sounds Optional Part - Real Lights Patch. This is only a minor problem and simply means that, depending on which you load last, five particular types of light will produce a different set of sounds. Also, Atmospheric Oblivion and Real Lights both add new scripts to two of the same things (specifically: lamp posts in Anvil and Ayleid doors). These scripts will be combined in a future version of the mod, but for now the Real Lights scripts have been used.

MIS New Sounds Optional Part - Real Lights Patch: Adds new sound affects from the "New Sounds Optional Part" of Deckard's More Immersive Sound to 21 lights altered by Josef K.'s Real Lights. MIS New Sounds Optional Part.esp is required, and _Real Lights.esp is highly recommended (but not essential); MIS New Sounds Optional Part - Real Lights Patch.esp should be loaded after both. It shouldn't matter whether MIS New Sounds Optional Part.esp is loaded before or after _Real Lights.esp.

Note: there is a very small overlap between Atmospheric Oblivion - Real Lights Patch and MIS New Sounds Optional Part - Real Lights Patch. This is only a minor problem and simply means that, depending on which you load last, five particular types of light will produce a different set of sounds.

nVidia Black Screen Fix for Natural Interiors: Adds the interior weather conditions from Wormheart's Natural Interiors to cells modified by Quazzy's nVidia Black Screen Fix. Natural Interiors.esm and Natural Interiors - Cities.esp are both required; nVidia Black Screen Fix for Natural Interiors.esp should be loaded afterwards. nVidia Black Screen Fix.esp is *not* required.

Note: nVidia Black Screen Fix for Natural Interiors.esp should be fully compatible with all of Natural Interior's optional .esp and .esm files.

Gender Independent Clothing - OOO Patch: Adds the gender-independent pants and skirts from Sacred Snow's Gender Independent Clothing to NPCs altered by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, alters various leveled lists to replace OOO's "unisex" pants and skirts with GIC's pants and skirts, and changes the prices of GIC's pants and skirts to those of OOO.

Stock Clothing and Armor Replacer for Exnem's Female Body - OOO Patch: Adds the new meshes and textures from Grhys' Stock Clothing and Armor Replacer for Exnem's Female Body to various clothes and pieces of armor modified by Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esm, Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp, and StockClothingArmor-forExnems.esp are all required; StockClothingArmor-forExnems- OOO Patch.esp should be loaded after all three. It shouldn't matter whether StockClothingArmor-forExnems.esp is loaded before or after Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp.

Note: this patch does *not* contain exnemised versions of the new meshes that come with OOO; therefore the only new OOO clothes and pieces of armor affected by this mod are those which use mesh names from the original game (which amounts to three robes, one cuirass, one pair of shoes, and one pair of boots).

Full credit goes the author of the various mods mentioned above: HTF, piratelordx, Martigen, Sotobratos, Windsurfer, Fyrestorm, Qarl, AlienSlof, Josef K., Deckard, Wormheart, Quazzy, Sacred Snow, and Grhys.

Also HUGE thanks to ElminsterEU for the excellent TES4View/TES4Edit. Without this program, the files above would have taken considerably more time and effort to create.

Unless otherwise noted above, all of the Mod Compatibility Project .esp files are fully compatible with one another (including all three Atmospheric Oblivion patches).
