I have been playing with this little mod I first made when I started Oblivion when it first released and I have not seen anyone else release one so I decided to go ahead and share it. YES I do realize THIS IS A CHEAT. With my current character at about 35 strength I can carry about 3800 units instead of the default 675 or so.

This will allow you to carry a little more than 100 times your strength instead of the default 15 or so.
This mod adjusts the Encumbrance value to be 100. YES THIS MOD IS A CHEAT! No need to post about how you don't like the idea since it is up to you to use it or not. I am lazy and prefer to loot everything I see.
TO INSTALL - simply drop the Encumbrance.esp into your Oblivion/data folder and enable it. It will work when you load/start a game with it enabled. Obviously load it after any mods that restrict your Encumbrance limits.
NOTE - Since you can carry so much more, you will notice that eventually when opening containers it may take a while for the container to open due to the sheer number of items the game needs to process when you open something. Simply dump your items into another container such as a Bag of Holding or one of my Dimensional Pockets and you will be back to quickly opening containers.
