Description

This mod will remove the quest tags from quest item's allowing you to drop them. It works on any item that uses a quest item flag, whether they are from user made mods, or official content, Shivering Isles, Knights of the nine, etc...

Though it does not require them to function..

The mod uses a script to remove the tags, none of the items are edited so it should be compatible with everything.

It does requires OBSE v10 or higher to function.

It is recommended that you update to the latest official patch, as this was made using the newest patches, etc.. Though it should function fine with any version so long as you have OBSE v10 or higher...

Using The Mod

The script runs once everytime you load a save game, you can open the console to view its progress, it will tell you how many items it has checked, as well as how many tags it removed after it finishes running.

Note: Progress will halt while the console is open...

If you need it to run again, you can either save, and reload, or type "Set BPReset to 1" into the console, and then "StartQuest 01BPInvFix01", this will reset, and restart the script..

Note: Don't type the quote tags in the console, just type Set BPReset to 1, etc...

If you can't remember all that, then it would be easier to just save your game, and reload it..

You can get OBSE v10, as well as some mods for it from.. http://obse.silverlock.org/

Known Bugs

A number of item's weren't meant to be dropped, so they have no ground mesh, when dropped on the ground they turn into a big yellow exclamation mark, if this occurs, you cannot pick the item back up.

So make a save before dropping an item you are unsure about. They can be placed in containers without problems though.

The items in Thieves Arsenal are incompatible, though both mods function together fine, it cannot remove the quest tags from these items, at least the ones I tested.

I haven't noticed any other bugs..

Enjoy the mod!
