About Akaviri Helmets is a mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which adds five variations of a new helmet with new models and textures to a chest hidden in the Jerall mountains in northern Cyrodiil. Akaviri Helmets is a mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which adds five variations of a new helmet with new models and textures to a chest hidden in the Jerall mountains in northern Cyrodiil. These helmets are based on a 17th century Japanese design called "momonari" or peach pit shape. There are four skins for the basic model, black with blue lacing, black with red lacing, red with black lacing, and rust with green lacing. All are classed as light armor with stats similar to Glass, reflecting their exquisite craftsmanship. The fifth is made as an alternative Ebony helmet and has stats similar to a Daedric Helm.
Installation
Extract the directory "Data" and its sub-directories into your main Oblivion folder. Choose to overwrite files if prompted.
Known Issues
-The neck guard clips slightly when worn with some armors.
-Beast faces clip through the visor.
-There is a small rigging error on the back of the head.
