I haven't figured out yet how to replace files without messing up the counter, it seems that other modders are having the same problem as me. Sorry for the inconvenience.

===========
Description:
===========

Aranmathi is a grand mansion built in Ayleid style without the ruin look (thanks to Ceano's textures). This mod doesn't change any of the existing Ayleid ruins (in case it worries you).

I created this house for my own character after he had finished the main quests and advanced through all the ranks in all factions. Aranmathi might feel a bit out of context for a low level character but it's entirely up to you to decide if the house is suitable or not.

The house is free and there are no quests involved in order to acquire it. There are no uber-items or cheats, just some stuff here and there to show the purpose/use of certain resources (like weaponholders, scroll/potion shelves and so on)

* An Ayleid home that does not look like a ruin.

* Create your own statue: You can decorate the throne room with a statue of your own character. You can change the statue any time you want.

* On the throne a scroll is placed which teaches you a spell to teleport you back to Aranmathi.

* Teleportation to all the buyable houses included in the official game (provided you own them).

* Several npc's, guards and others, to liven up the place.

* The inventories of all npc's are accessible to the player. Equip them however they want.

* Enchanting and spellmaking altars.

* Altar that converts grand soul gems to black soul gems when a soultrap spell is cast on it.

* A reusable Oblivion portal (works even after you've finished the main quest).

* Static alchemy equipment, i.e. you click on any apparatus and it will be automatically equipped/removed from your inventory. The type of equipment is based on your alchemy level.

* Philosopher's Stone - Temporarily increases your alchemy skill when activated.

* Automatic ingredient storage - moves the ingredients from your inventory to a chest when activated.

* Training room with summonable creatures. Push a button to start the fight, choose from different levels of difficulty.

* Decorated with paintings, sofas, rugs and tapestries not included in "vanilla" Oblivion.

* Two fireplaces in main bedroom activated/deactivated by a switch.

* Light in main bedroom can be turned on/off by a switch on the wall

Installation
============

Install this mod by extracting the contents of the archive in your Data
folder. If you have performance problems try using "AranMathi_WithoutStargate.esp" instead of "AranMathi.esp".

=============
Compatibility
=============

This mod is not compatible with Iznogoud's Castle. If you are currently using that mod and want to switch to this one, go to Bruma or somewhere else far away from Iznogoud's Castle and save your game. Don't forget to remove your stuff from the containers before you save.

=====
Notes
=====

If you have performance problems due to the "Stargate" teleportals, use the esp named "AranMathi_WithoutStargate.esp" instead.

All the containers are safe to store items in *except* for the two cupboards in the dining hall.

Soul Gem Altar: Put one or more Grand Soul Gems inside the altar. Cast a soultrap spell on the altar for each gem that you want to transform.

Statue Maker: Directly after you choose "create a new statue" from the menu you get teleported to the treasury room - this is to protect you from the powerful magic released during the process (well, actually that's not *really* the reason but let's pretend so for sake of immersion, hehehe)

NPC Inventory: It will take a little while before the inventory window appears, this is a limitation in the method used.

In the training pit: When you have finished training, push the button again and choose "Skip Training" this will make the stairs rise.

Regarding the Aranmathi teleportation amulet: Once you have chosen your destination you need to close the inventory window manually before the teleportation actually occurs, sorry for the inconvenience. I'll try to come up with a better solution on the next release.
