Brianna wiped the sweat off her forehead, and with it the blood of the third massive grizzly she had encountered on her walk north from the West Weald thru the heart of the Great Forest. She had been heading towards Brindle Home and its nearby priory in search of Lady's Mantle, but the leisurely hike was feeling more like a dungeon crawl, and the sun was starting to head down for the night. She tore open a ration pack as she caught her breath, and checked the condition of her gear- her blade and bow were fine, but there were dents in her greaves and boots, and she'd have to mend her leather clothing reinforcements again.

This place better be paved with herbs, she growled silently, as she finished her dinner. Hopefully, she'd reach Brindle Home by nightfall...
