MERP Plus Rivendell WIP - testing

Initially ZERO building at Rivendell in O-MERP. Several buildings in the Data, nicely done if different from the movie set. At first I just shoved a few of them to make something (and later to host Glorfindel), hoping some day I'll find something better or be able to build it.

Today… I am at least considering the challenge, and checking/testing if something is possible in the current geography. I don't want to change it much, and even less to add platforms all over around to fake some flatter land.
Here I am testing the idea with files from elsewhere. They are fairly close to the movie set, if low-poly and way too low-res for a close view. Also the Normal map is messing with the shininess. All the same, it is just a test. And it looks like something is feasible.

Now I'll see if I can build something from scratch…

    I think I've seen these models somewhere. Looks like they could be used as a base for proper TES4 buildings. Now, interiors is an entirely different beast.
    Have you tried lowering the opacity of normal maps?

      I'll use them as a blueprint. They are totally useless at close range :(

      Fixed it. The normal map had a transparency layer…
