I would lover the belt a tad. It is a little too close to the upper line of the pants. If that is possible?
I might keep a version of these pants with the rope belt thingy but further down and a little opening cut in the middle, like in one of my previous attempts, for good measure though. These previous pants were already looking nice, just the rigging around the groin area was totally crap. The new pants have better rigging now, so why not re-creating the old one's looks as well first? I'm all for options and choices after all.

The "stash" one has the qualities without being naked. A good piece to work further on - if you need.
To me it looks finished. But I don't see the flaws you are talking about.
BTW. The trees are gone!

Having people like you around (that goes for all of you active authors here) triggers my brain - I guess?
More lore:
The way I see the redguards and nakedness - they were more like Ninjas or Samurais. The Curved Sword were famous due to the way they handled it. Like a Samurai. The enemy didn't see what was coming before it was too late.
Conclusion: They were elegant in all their efforts and clothing and did not need armor. Not even as Blades.
That is why they were concidered naked in fights.

Glad to read the problem is fixed.
The rigging issues with these older pants can hardly be spotted in those pics, which was probably intentional during their taking. But you can see the beginning of clipping galore at the left corner of the groin section there already. The further apart, be it sideways as in strafing or back- and forwards as in walking, the legs went, the more severe the distortion became. ...And looking from behind it appeared as if the player was wearing diapers underneath as well, for an as of yet undeciphered reason. I just had to start over from something else.
The overall design used in the pic is still appealing though definitely. And I can now re-create the same with the new pants.
