About this image

I'm working on a new city wall set as part of a push to improve my blender modeling skill. Could anyone give me some feedback on these wall pieces?

It's based on the wall at fort Kumbhalgarh in India.

Thanks in advance for any feedback :)

    You are "heavenly" sent!

I follow you and our friends and your work is fabulous!

Are yo planning corners and "Bend" walls? (Going up and down steeper landscapes.)

Thanks, It's great to know this stuff is useful :)

I can't do 'bend' walls, but I can do towers?

That is great. I LOVE TOWERS :)
Can you create them in 2 sizes? 2 different diameters?
You decide. Your work is so beautiful no matter what you do.
I am not dependent on the gate architecture if you don't plan it. As I said I love towers.
      Good luck.
      There is one technical issue.
Your "Norh Pack" is very slow to move around when editing it in my CS.
      Anyone else experiencing that?

I think the slow down issue is caused by the presense of too many verts. I'm still learning, so I'll try to make future models lower poly. Apologies for the issue.

Fantastic work gep! In the way of feedback, the walkway textures look a little blurry. Is that just a low res texture? Or is it something that editing UV maps could tighten up? Question: How does one access the walkway? Do you have a stairs piece in the set or is it the good old trap door? That's all I can think of off the top. Once again it looks great friend.

      Thanks mhahn :)

The textures are probably stuck as they are, but I'll look into it. I will try doubling the X value of the UV Map. I tried making some stairs, but I don't think the dimensions of the set permit is. Looks like it will have to be the trap door.

Absolutely beautiful!! Texturing and modeling are fantastic!

I do have two suggestions for you:

    1) Keep up the great work!
    2) Please help Fredlaus with Hammerfell. Your custom meshes can really help that mod grow! :)

I totally agree, Fredlaus works alone and it would be fine for him and the communauty to find a partner for his project.

A different and attractive architectural look with cohesive textures.
