About this image
I had a good old watch of the film Jurassic Park the other day and it struck me how to completely change the look of a scene just using colour.
However, I wanted to portray an image that you always get in horror or monster movies involving woods or forests where the screech of an unseen creature is heard just as the protagonist steps on something like a twig. But upon hearing the aforementioned sound they never seem to recognise what direction it's actually coming from - as if forests somehow have this innate ability to mess with our spacial awareness.
In this shot I deliberately angled it so Jihanna is looking up - she knows exactly where it is.
She's essentially Jeff Goldblum in that iconic moment.
We never really get a sense of fear or terror in Oblivion - the Hero of Kvatch just isn't afraid of anything, so this is my effort to explore that
Additionally I'm doing a few screenies across Bethesda games to imitate, not the movie as such, but the emotion and visualisation we see as a result of seeing it. Check out my others and comment if you like, even guess at what movies I'm imitating and throw one at me to try out.

I've messed with her normals here and glossed her way more than I normally would to get the 'rained-on' effect without making her look too plastic. I had to kneel her down as well with a pose so the angle worked.

Stuff like this that makes for a very immersive experience, Oblivion unfortunately, lacks the engine for such mechanics...well...in retrospective, they are totally different games...but still...think you get my point xD
Anyways, great shot and very interesting idea. (Which is perfectly executed, by the way!)
Perhaps a good idea for a mod that could give certain enemies an area of effect ''fear' buff that would decrease certain stats, force a weapon to be dropped or even encumber a PC by 200 to make them freeze in terror? A lot of Warhammer games use something similar but I don't know if the implementation has ever been done.
