About this image
As mentioned in the previous images, there are a number of small items about
vanilla architecture that have been niggling at the back of my mind for years now.
In keeping with that line of thought, wanted to share just one or two more pics of
what those types of things are.
Here we have the Farm House Door model (right), which serves as both Exterior
and Interior door. Not the biggest problem in this game world to be sure, but it's
one of those small things that helps to break immersion when you suddenly see
the inside door handle isn't in the same place as the outside.
The secondary issue, for myself at least, is the left handed approach Bethesda
took with the doors. Vanilla has the door handle placed to suit a left handed grab,
while in the real world the vast majority of people are right handed.
So I've reworked the door, mirroring (mostly) the frame, handle, hinges, and wood
panel texture. Now we have both an inside and outside door for folks like myself.
I've also done the same for the Lower Class Door which had the same issue.
Now anyone who wishes can set up doors to fit their preference.
