I really love how closely it resembles vanilla load screens. If you hadn't said it's yours I'd be positive it came with the game and simply slipped under my radar. Would you be willing to elaborate on what techniques you used to achieve this effect?
Thanks! Took me hours to make, considering my next to none photoshop skills. Still looks a bit off, I think...
So the background is just a screenshot I took with photocopy filter, set to multiply mode. Image in a center is 4 layers: 1) Part of the original screenshot with a bit of contrast/brightness tweaking and some smart sharpening; 2) Part of screenshot again but now with neon filter, in screen mode, 35% fill; 3) Same part again but now with color balancing and photocopy filters, color burn mode; 4) Just one-color rectangle (RGB: 210; 182; 135), soft light mode, opacity 87%, fill 71%
I can just send you .psd file if you want, it'll probably explane things much better then my broken english can.
Hey, many thanks for this explanation. Will come handy when/if I get around to making any larger scale mod with its own loading screens. Yes, it would be sweet if you could send that .psd, too. :)
